I'd interpret Caissie Levy's instagram story yesterday as suggesting that one isn't in the works unfortunately. I wish that they would at least release the songs that they recorded for the promotional videos as a 'highlights' album. It looks like they're (thankfully) changing tack with the promotional art, it's still on the official website but seems to be changing elsewhere (social media, TodayTix etc). The artwork campaign for the transfer has not worked and people told them that loudly and clearly from day one. Glad to see they've finally changed it. We sure did, to the marketing team, very loudly, at the first preview 😂

They've just announced a remixed and remastered version of the Broadway album dropping tomorrow for the 15th anniversary, I'd say the chances for a West End recording are the lowest they can be right now... Could this be a way to drum up interest again before announcing a Broadway transfer? Then release a new recording as a London cast / Broadway revival cast recording?

Could this be a way to drum up interest again before announcing a Broadway transfer? Then release a new recording as a London cast / Broadway revival cast recording? The remix was to renew the album to be more representative of the show as is today, so I doubt there's a new cast recording on the table. A live cast recording could always happen though.

Since Lizzie has been on quite a bit the last couple weeks, I'm curious if anyone has managed to catch her that has also seen Eleanor before. I would love to here your thoughts on her portrayal and how it might compare or differ.

I would love to here your thoughts on her portrayal and how it might compare or differ. I only saw half performance with Lizzie (second half). I then watched the show again with Eleanor at the whole thing. I really enjoyed Lizzie, might be totally wrong here, but I thought she was slightly more intense towards the end than Eleanor? Really enjoyed both though

I saw both.
Eleanor is a bit more fragile.
Lizzy is angrier and edgier.
Both are vocally very impressive.

Also have seen both.
Eleanor has the slight edge vocally but Lizzy is still great. It's slightly difficult to compare overall because Eleanor obviously has better chemistry with the other leads as ANYONE would working with them daily for so long.

Went today to see it in the west end. It’s amazing isn’t it how well it transfers to a bigger space, I really thought this would lose impact outside the Donmar but it doesn’t in the slightest. I think it hit harder today. Different moments came through, the whole thing was definitely more polished and complete although I didn’t walk out of the Donmar run thinking it needed anything doing.
The visual spectacle (the projections, lighting etc) probably worked better here than in the Donmar where you can really take them in, it felt a little less garish. I also wondered if there could have been moments the band could’ve punched a bit harder in the sound mix, but that’s probably a matter of taste and I’m a bit basic in liking my big musical moments LOUD.
Lizzy Parker was on as Natalie and all the above comments are correct, she’s an even angrier and maybe a louder Natalie than Worthington-Cox was. It’s a very assured and competent performance, but I probably preferred the latter’s take on it with a bit more vulnerability and nuance. A truly stunning bit of work from a standby though. Caissie Levy is a revelation in her role, Jamie Parker was much better vocally today than when I last heard him and really owns the role. The rest of the guys are great. There’s just so many heartbreaking performances on the stage. The dialogue and the music and the direction are all so tight and effective. I really love this show.
Still 5 stars from me.

Does anyone know when Eleanor last performed? Coming at the weekend and I'd love to see her as Natalie, but noticed Lizzy Parker has been on a lot recently. Hope Eleanor is ok.

I believe Eleanor did the August 5th-7th shows. But otherwise, she has been out since she and Lizzie did that mid-show swap on August 1st.

I have tickets to 5 performances the week of August 19th and I'm hoping it works out to me seeing both Lizzie and Eleanor. I thought Eleanor was second best in the cast after Caissie at the Donmar, so I'm hoping to see how she's grown.

Looks like Eleanor's back tonight. Ahhh brilliant, thanks for sharing. It sounds like both Eleanor and Lizzy give equally stunning (but different) performances, so I'm sure I'll be lucky whoever I see! Are you there tonight?

Won't get back until in the end of the month. Just saw someone post tonight's cast board on Instagram.

Wanted to see Lizzy but unfortunately the stars may not align. But everything I've heard about her has been great.

I would absolutely recommend seeing it from the royal circle. The best place to see the show from, in my opinion, as you get the full impact of the moment on the floor and can fully appreciate the set and lighting design, whilst not being too far away to pick up facial expressions.
And if you want to see it in one day, do it! I did that the Saturday I saw the show and have no regrets.

Absolutely agree, the dress circle is the best option. Happily I managed to get a row D seat through TodayTix rush for a Saturday matinee in July. Worth trying this, I think!

Ended up sitting row h stalls which I really enjoyed it was a great view and gosh I didn't think it would hit me as much the second time but if anything I think I cried even more.
I opted to see hello dolly in the evening and whilst booking that ticket have booked another couple of days off work so I can catch this again a couple more times before it closes.
Absolutely wonderful heartbreaking and moving afternoon I would have to say this sits up there as one of my favourite shows I've ever seen.
