It all started on January 10, 2021 when singer and tiktoker Abigail Barlow (22) just wanted to have fun and posted this tiktok.

After the second post/song „Burn for you“

it went viral.
So she contacted her friend and musician Emily Bear (19), with whom she had worked on various projects last year

who started on the spot with arranging, orchestration the songs and from that moment they both wrote songs, after a lot of attention in US media BBC 4 radio interview them

and two days ago a feature by BBC News

and yesterday article, interview with exclusive music in
www.playbill.com/article/exclusive-bridgerton-tiktok-musical-writers-share-track-and-discuss-future-plans
From the start they got positive feedback from Netflix, the Brigerton producers, actors and even the author (see BBC News feature). It seems there will be something in the future, they spoke about a big e-mail they had got but could not tell more before the paperwork ...
The special part is that they involve everyone in this process...and as a result tons of videos on social media especially on tiktok and instagram #bridgetonmusical.
For a few days they both have live streams on @abigailbarloww tiktok and @mlebear instagram, where they compose the songs ...with everyone who wants, can watch.
Emily Bear saves them in her IGTV...sadly yesterday morning after 2 1/2 hours her iphone died...just when they showed Justin Paul who had appeared in stream and had commented „I quit“ all the songs...so this stream (they had composed the opening) was not saved..
