Has anyone had there new date through yet? Not me. I booked direct with the Barbican. Will accept almost any date but keen to retain the same front row seat I originally booked. |

When do you think we are liking to hear? I have never had a theatre performance put back before, hope to keep my same seats but I am struggling for June. Hoping they can change us to July |

I'd already used a panto refund to book for this at The Mayflower and now used my Waitress TodayTix voucher (for the 3rd time!) towards seeing it in London too as I can't see that cast all touring!

Wowsers, that rattled your chains did it? I’m not sure anyone will see it for a while but when they do I hope it’s wonderful and everything you were wishing for. I hear 99 year old Betty White is understudying Reno, with Sheila Reid as second cover. 😀 (For the record I just don’t think it’s worth doing these things half assed. Its clear who’s money they are going after by casting Mullally and I really do hope she is half as excellent as either Triplett or Foster were.) Out of interest did you actually see Sutton Foster in the show? Because she wasn’t good. I genuinely think maybe you should save your money if you think that them casting MM is somehow a cop out.. I think the vast majority would think this is pretty luxury casting. Given that Sutton Foster won the Tony Award that year for Best Actress in a Musical there are others who didn't agree with your assessment of her performance... |

Thank you, that's who I am with. Should of been going on 15th May but haven't got a new date as yet. If it's 4 weeks after I am going to have to change it as i'm away, hope they can do this as really don't want to miss it. Been a fan over Megan Mullally but over 22 years  Did London theatre direct get in touch with you literally as soon as they said it had been put back? I still haven't got my new date as yet, messaged them and they said they are still waiting to hear back from the theatre |

Above pessimism notwithstanding... a quick heads-up for anyone else booking through London Theatre Direct - their re-issued confirmation email advised the rescheduled date but the e-ticket attached was still for the original date. I emailed and they've immediately sent the correct e-ticket, but best to find out now rather than on the day of the show which is when I'd usually dig out the ticket for a once-over!
