Yes. Mazz is absolute perfection for Norma and will comfortably sing it incredibly well.
It'll be a stand up and sing concert I imagine, but that's no bad thing. The material is really good, I don't think you need all the bells and whistles Curve tried - it was a little distracting.

Are they selling single tickets this time or still discriminating against solo theatregoers?

Are they selling single tickets this time or still discriminating against solo theatregoers? When I booked before it was dynamic, I picked the seat I wanted and it took the one(s?) next to it off sale, like nimax does.

Too expensive for my blood I'm afraid, I can't justify £70/£80 for a concert of something I've already seen staged twice 😂 but Mazz will be incredible so those who are going will be in for a treat!

Agree on both counts. I understand the pricing with the need for social distancing, but with the travel costs added I'd be spending over £100 to see this concert. Looking forward to similar shows resuming at Cadogan Hall; pricing usually reasonable there and always superb performances.

I agree, I never would have booked in normal times but the cost covers 2 seats really and I’ve never been to the venue either so I justified it to myself. Also managed to book front row for Jamie in the evening so cheeky 2 show Sunday!

Well well well.
THAT is one of the best renditions of AIWNSG I’ve watched in my life! Epic. This version in particular is better than Patti, Betty, Petula and Glen. Though Elaine if I remember rightly from 30 years ago slightly generally over acted the role.
Thank you for sharing this. The Adelphi Sunset was one of the top ten shows and theatrical experiences of my life.

I am not a huge fan of Sunset and also not a huge fan of the prices (cheapest tickets available are 50+ quid) but Ally Pally is literally 20 minutes walk from my house and I love Mazz, so am keeping an eye on it. It's still two months to go, so a lot can happen in that time but currently there is still A LOT of availability, so am hopeful that there might be some deals going nearer the time.

Am I alone in adoring the actor musician version from the Watermill and town? First time (and last since) I've connected with the show. I know that must make me a heathen! I absolutely loved it. No, it wasn't perfect, given budget constraints, but the performances were first rate, it was directed incredibly inventively and the story felt at it's most intimate. Very intense at times!

Even more excited now oh my god! Just a shame that Ramin probably won’t be doing the title song with his top off seeing as it’s a concert version 😒
But Mazz, Ramin and a huge orchestra playing the Sunset score is gonna be theatre heaven.

It will be sublime but I still can't justify these prices. The cheapest is £50 to sit right at the back. Top price £83! Loads of availability left so they'll have to start doing some deals.
