I can't find any way to book single seats, unfortunately.

There were a couple for the evening performance when I looked earlier - but unless there was a huge rush of single ticket buyers first thing it seems as though the curse of being a solo theatregoer has struck again.

Theatres seem to have the idea that everyone attends in large groups (there are loads of blocks of 4s and 5s in that plan), which I'm not convinced is likely without encouraging people to attend out of their bubbles (not good for theatre in general if it becomes widely known that is happening). I do appreciate there's an economic reality to all of this.

I think the box seats are singles? Unfortunately not. It adds all 2 or 4 to your basket.

It’s a tricky one. I bent the rules a little for JCS at Regent’s Park as it’s outdoors but I’d have trouble convincing anyone to come to this with me whether in my bubble or not. This meant I had to jump on a single ticket.

I can't find any way to book single seats, unfortunately. When I looked a minute ago there was one top price single for the matinee and one second from bottom for the evening which I grabbed. A real shame and I fear this is the way it will continue to be.

I dont know hows someone has done it but it looks like someone has spilt a 2 seat "bubble" because when I checked there was no singles in the upper circle but now there is one?

There were quite a few single seats when I looked at the evening performance earlier, and I have just gone back in and booked a second price one. There is still at least one left...

Well done on grabbing them. Maybe they are slowly releasing some (or people had them held in their basket)? Nothing there currently, but I'll check back throughout the day.

I jumped on a single ticket for the evening pretty much at 10:01am because I didn't see many, so didn't want to risk it.
I completely understand the need for lots of groupings, but surely there are more likely to be singles attending this than groups of 4 or more? If I hadn't seen it at 10am by pure chance, then all that would be left for me now is one single in the back of the grand for the evening, or I would have to break the bubble rules.
I get that it's harder for bigger places and they can't just use the plex screens that they will be using in the Southwark Playhouse, but having so few single seats is definitely a bad business decision in my opinion. Even people that usually go in pairs might be at different levels of comfort when it comes to Covid, so might not go with their usual theatre buddy, etc.
Have friends that wanted to see JCS but as there were no singles left when they wanted to go (but still lots of 2-4 seats together), they didn't book. And I fear it will be the same with this if they don't split a few more of those tickets up.

Stalls S5 has appeared for the evening as a single if that helps anyone (unfortunately I can only make the matinee that day).

I think they'll split it into singles nearer the time like turbine has done

I think they'll split it into singles nearer the time like turbine has done Turbine, I think, managed to fit extra rows in at the back. First one row of singles. Then three rows of pairs. Don't know how they did it but they changed pallet seating to deckchair seating so I presume that made some space. I don't see Songs For A New World as being an easy sell, so hopefully they'll release some singles. Bridge Theatre were very accommodating at reconfiguring seating to allow for singles, so that's a model to go for.

Wellnive only just got the e mail and no single tickets. My theatre "bubble" friend is not a fan of this so unless I buy 2 seats I won't be going.

I was wondering whether to pluck up courage and make this my first foray into the West End and back inside a theatre, but it seems I have left it too late to snap one of the few single seats. Oh well, not to be.

I'm utterly baffled as to why they have 14/15 sets of groups of 6 available. Social bubbles are still supposed to be your househould (potentially plus one if they're a single adult), right?
Also utterly annoyed that because I was at school teaching I didn't see the announcement until this afternoon so have precisely zero chance to go. Really not what I wanted to come home to after an exhausting first week with the kids back.
