No schedule. You could end up seeing any combination of Jesus/Judas/Mary

Faints!
As long as I get to see Ricardo a least a couple of times, I’ll be happy. And I am delighted to see such a great cast.

I'm at five tickets now which I hope means a good chance of at least a few Ricardo performances. I just wish there'd been at least one single seat near the front... I've sat in the upper parts a few times for productions I wasn't excited enough about to splurge, and it always felt rather far away.

Gawd! Hope they shake it up and do mix and match combos - ie Tyrone and Pepe or Declan and Ricardo . A completely new dynamic!

I am similarly going a few times so hoping for a combo of performers. Agreed - love the front section so very annoying no singles there!

A public service announcement - I have booked for the evening of Sat 12 Sep. The only time I've ever been to an outdoor concert there was pretty much a monsoon, so I apologise in advance!

I don’t want to seem like a negative nancy because I really am so pleased that live performance is back and that venues are willing to put money into it at such an uncertain time but it seems like things are going to be pretty difficult for the solo theatre goer while social distancing is required. There seem to be about 6 single seats all of which are top price and two on the grass. The cheaper ones are sold out for all performances as far I can see and the cheapest option looks to be buying two orange priced seats at £50 in total which is what I’m thinking of doing.
As I say I’m really pleased that theatre is back in some form but I can tell I’ll be spending a lot more in future!

I feel as though a lot of venues are experimenting with socially distanced seating plans in terms of demand etc to work out what works best...odd that OAT hasnt provided more solo seats but hopefully things will be better for future shows!

That's been my sad feeling as well - only doubles still available for the Donmar, no solo capacity at the Watermill, limited for this. As someone who likes to eat out alone as well, I'm also aware that a restaurant with reduced capacity doesn't want me taking up a single table that two people could sit on. It might be a longer journey back to normal for the antisocials than for everyone else, alas...

The pandemic pretty much put paid to dating opportunities for a while as well.

Also there's the fact that many people go to the theatre with friends who may well not be part of their social bubble so they either go together and pretend they're a bubble or require two singles to be at the same show - which they're not likely to get with so few on sale!

Yup, I've also seen a few clips of them rehearsing Drew McOnie's insane choreography and I am now also convinced this is gonna be epic! Am certainly thinking at least semi staged and very much not a conventional concert.

Grr...wish I'd got a ticket now Go for it - there's still plenty available (including singles, though mainly for the September dates). In fact must admit I was wrong upthread when I predicted people were gonna be so desperate to see stuff, that this would sell out pretty quickly. Though I do still think the run will sell out as it gets going.

@dom this rarely sold out at the Barbican (baffling to me, but hey ho) I wonder if a lot of the people who would go and see this are of an age where they have kids but don’t want to get a babysitter or older than me and generally very cautious about Covid.
Out of interest, where did you see the clips of the choreography?

Out of interest, where did you see the clips of the choreography? Following most of the cast on Insta so was in someone's story I think! Indeed re the Barbican - though there was ALW galore last Summer and Barbican was of course it's 3rd run. I think you could be right on the age of the audience and Corona concerns though!

I’m quite glad that my husband isn’t a fan as it has removed the babysitter issue for this one. Now I just need to see if I can convince him to drive me there and back :-)

To be honest this looks like it's going to be close to the full show?
