Some good acting here. But I loved sensing the stagecraft off Rattigan, the places where movement, a gesture and the tricky hat box scenario would work in a full performance. The new chap was superb, young so mastered the medium but really has something I thought. Bravo Jermyn St for giving us the live performance, warts and all: very different from the recorded, filmed events which are also welcome of course but which somehow show up the loss.

Agree. 4-7 June they are doing Wind in the Willows, as a livestream, 7 performances, with audience participation ! They are showing up the likes of the RSC with their inventiveness and positive attitude. |

Well done Jermyn Street. Very brave, really got into it once the odd format became familiar. Good acting all round, would love to see them do it on stage.
