Enthralled by this last night, cleverly written, my perspective spun on almost the last line.
Not the most feel good of plays but the nuance and the performances of Jasper Britton and especially Gary Beadle draw you in to the lives of the two broken men and how they frame their life choices, a dialectic we all live with.

This seems very tacky after quite a strong opening season.

This seems very tacky after quite a strong opening season. Is this not just for the cabaret and burlesque they do later in the evenings? Surely not every production featuring a bit of nudity is staged at "Sexual Entertainment Venue"?

Well considering how badly their evening shows are doing and I don't think their late night shows do much better I don't see anything wrong to them returning to their roots to bring back their usual crowds for later in the evening entertainment.

Yes, I enjoyed this. Two strong performances.

A great play. Beadle was outstanding. Second time I’ve been to the Boulevard, a shame it ain’t getting the audience numbers it should.

I enjoyed this-I felt that the acting was excellent-Gary Beadle in particular. The script was a little repetitive but in all it was a good play and I liked the venue. Although I do think from following them on Twitter that they are promoting themselves more as a restaurant than as a theatre.

This finished really strongly for me, I didn't really see it ending that way with the whole thing turned on its head. The constant "I need to leave now" bits were kind of annoying but the discussions were pretty interesting and the contrast between the two characters and the interrogation switching steered it away from pseudo-philosophy to actual philosophy. Cool theatre too in a great location, going to have to book The Effect after this.

I'm also going to see The Effect, hopefully it'll be good!
