Well, let’s accept that everyone is entitled to their opinion and move on shall we? Whatever is going on with the cast, I’m primarily concerned with my safety in the audience. The video I posted upthread assures me that the necessary precautions are being taken. I’m interested to see how the Perspex screens will be used! I had a shock this morning, got an email from the HM thanking me for my donation and asking what I wanted to have inscribed on my plaque. I mean, Ive made my fair share of drunk purchases but a £500 plaque at the Hope Mill? Fortunately it turned out to be an error 😂 I got that email too- Rather a surprise first thing this morning!

I got the same e-mail as well this morning. Reading the email at 4.30am as I was getting ready to go to work, I was a bit confused as I didn't remember donating any money for any wall plaque.
Anyway, hopefully those new auditorium seats that the Hope Mill team having been on about are in place. I can't be doing with sitting on those seats that they had in previous productions any longer. They are not the most comfortable of things. I just hope they remember to put the heating on as well. Last time I was in the auditorium it was freezing and ended up watching the show wearing my big winter jacket.

They have no chance of putting on another show on before Christmas. So No doubt they will be extending until after Christmas.

Surprised people have an appetite to see a musical about HIV & AIDS in amidst of a pandemic. If you are not familiar with the show, you should watch it before you speak like that. And if you are and that's all you have to say, then, oh boy...

Surprised people have an appetite to see a musical about HIV & AIDS in amidst of a pandemic. What an incomprehensible take on Rent...?! And of how that relates to the current reality/experience.

I was really hoping this would be what the announcement was! I'm usually a fairly regular visitor to the Hope Mill, due to having family nearby, but am unable to visit at the moment. So pleased this will be available to a wider audience.

Excellent! There is no chance of me getting to Manchester at the minute, but online I can definitely do. I adore Rent so am now very excited by this!

Interesting that the final two streaming weekends (11/12/13 and 18/19/20 December) are after the show has finished live dates. I wonder if they are gonna release theatre tickets for these or if perhaps they will be invited audience only!?

I don't that this is going to be a live relay rather it will be recorded and then transmitted on the dates advised. The WOS story says that; "The Umbrella Rooms will be capturing the show, which will then be available for a limited number of audience members who purchase tickets for allocated dates" and in the same article William Whelton, the Exec Director of Hope Mill says "the chance for audiences to view an online version of the show" - there's no mention of a live stream.

I’ve just got my priority email and booked. The stress of booking a show as soon as it goes on sale is something I haven’t felt in a While. There was an option for merchandise but it said sold out and I didn’t want to miss out on the ticket while faffing!

I got the priority booking link, but is it absolutely certain that this will stream abroad, too?
I don't want to pay up now then realize on the day of the stream that it's restricted to the UK only.
Edit: I assume it will be restricted to the UK, because my payment didn't go through.
Merchandise seemed to be available though, I was able to put a programme in my basket.

Don't quite understand why Hope Mill making such a fanfare re the presale to this. Surely if it's online there is no limit to tickets they can sell?! And hence no rush to get them.
Revenue stream to pay for the set maybe.....!?
