I get it will be mainly aimed at the young (it's a classic children's book after all) and I didn't bother with 'Annie Jnr' as I had seen it in a proper production years back with Lily Savage but I have always heard lovely things about this musical adaptaion so may just have to go

I was there and it was excellent. I really hope it built momentum for a revival, but I'm not holding my breath. It was a wonderful event on its own.

The RSC did a great production of this in Stratford but when it transferred to London it died quickly - great pity!

The RSC production made so many changes that didnt need to be made. Cutting all the ghost/dreamer characters made it lose some of its power. Dancing maids and gardners instead??
They also cut one of my favourite pieces of music, The Quartet.
It's a shame its getting this production as I was hoping to see a full revival of the original broadway version.
