Not saying she should reprise her role, as in theatre it doesn’t work turning the clock back. But I thought Hannah Waddingham was fantastic in the open air production.

I always thought Hannah was too young at the time, so she's now a better age to do it (and we know she's fantastic at it too!)

I would love to see Laura Michelle Kelly as Mrs Baker. What about Ruthie Henshall as the Witch?

Get Idina over! Proven track record in playing witchy types! And with a track record of being pitchy too.... that Tony Award performance... 😬 And Re Bernadette, I saw her at the Festival Hall a few years back and its fair to say she wasn't sounding great. She couldnt sing it and doubt she would do 8 perfs a week at her age.

Can anyone report what the seating plan looks like for this? What’s the front row?

What does everyone think the set will look like? It's being done by Jon Bausor, whose worked on 'Bat Out of Hell' and 'The Grinning Man'.

They'd be missing a trick if they didn't use Cupid's foot for when the Giant's Wife attacks!

I'm surprised Terry Gilliam isn't designing it.Visions of cartoonish/Monty Python vibes but looking at Jon Bausor's past works including the Olympics opening ceremony he tends to go for distressed industrial. I assume Gilliam will give Bausor some notes on how he'd like the set to look. I imagine it will look something akin to either 'Brazil' or 'Baron Munchausen', which Gilliam has directed. Or it could be a blend of both cartoonish/Python visuals and distressed industrial.

Most of the centre stalls £150. I find it so frustrating when theatres give a price range plus "premium seats available" and then proceed to have all of the decent seats at that premium price. Just be up front. Tell people the actual prices. If your product is good enough the price will be justified.

Yikes. I'm going twice. Once to an early preview and then to the final performance - it had better be good

I’ve booked. Gone for £20 back of the top circle but central. Not sure if there will be a mad rush but at least I’ve got mine. For 360 days time!

Well so much for saying I wasn't going to book. I think the excitement of moving very slowly up the queue forced me to book once I got onto the website. The date I looked at was quite heavily booked but managed to get aisle stalls and the one next to it for £65 each. Plus as we are over 60 we got them for £30 each so I'm made up.
