Where could it even go if it did? There's literally nowhere available.

Yes I know who wrote what! I also know Piazza discounted and papered heavily. Both shows are produced by the same team, I wonder if Woods is destined to have an international tour like Piazza did?

I think Piazza only did because of Dove Cameron to begin with, and the fact that Renee Fleming is a big star in the US

Charlotte Jacconelli as Little Red. Nope - full casting now confirmed and she’s one of the sisters. Someone making their pro debut as Red

I was guessing re Charlotte being LR.
Fab cast - Alex Young stands to be one of the next big Sondheim interpreters I think. She'll be a TERRIFIC Sally one day, and she's got the right sort of edge for a Mrs Lovett too

Glorious cast - oh to be near Bath. Can the theatre Royal cope with Gilliams imagination.

Without wanting to read too much into it or form too much of a prior opinion, looking at the creatives there's a Video Designer credited but no Set Designer, take of that what you will. Edit: Just noticed Jon Bausor is credited as Designer, is a Stage Designer by trade.
I also note theres quite a lot of seats unsold still, which is great for me, more to choose from last minute.

From what I hear- more ‘creative differences’ are rearing their heads on this show.
Let’s hope it doesn’t affect the final show, I have high hopes for this.

Anyone been to this theatre before before, how bad are the restricted leg room seats in the circles?

Anyone been to this theatre before before, how bad are the restricted leg room seats in the circles? Unsure if you mean the view or the legroom, but the back of the circle/balcony is a pretty poor view. The theatre itself is quite compact and the legroom probably reflects that in the majority of the theatre. I would recommend the boxes which are just extensions of the circle for a cheaper price, and have freestanding chairs. Really wouldn’t recommend front row, or even front two rows, but depends if there’s an extended stage or orchestra pit.

Yes, sorry, should probably have worded the question a little more clearly. I'm wondering about legroom for the 'restricted legroom' seats front row of Royal Circle & Dress Circle. Their 'interactive' seat plan is quite helpful for getting a perspective on the space.

Be careful with the numerous pillars around. I always buy the perch seats in the Royal Circle which they sell for £12.50 - fantastic value if you don’t mind missing about 5/10% of the left side of the stage where nothing tends to happen. The other perch seats in the theatre are terrible views unless you’re tall enough for the stalls single ones at the back.

I tend to just go for the 12.50 seats at the back because I’ve never been to a sold out show there and always get moved downstairs or move forward to the front of the balcony where the view is clear
Can’t remember whether the legroom is bad there because it’s barely sold out in the balcony anyway so I can just have enough room to move my legs

Thanks both, really helpful. Do love a good bargain, but for such a short run on the scale it is, happy to pay for a bit of a better seat in the hope it recoups.
I am quite surprised at the lack of matinees given half the run is during the school summer holidays (only Saturdays during August). The few matinees there are look to be selling better than alot of the evenings, possibly missed a trick there.
