Over the past few years I had been unable to go to the theatre due to mental health issues so this year I set myself a target of seeing 100 shows! On 31st December I will make the 100, going to see Hamilton yet again. I was wondering what shows people thought were the best this year. They do not have to be new, just shows you have enjoyed (or not possibly). I have not created a thread before so be gentle, please. I will start off with...
Hamilton - just love this every time I see it
Dear Evan Hanson - almost beat Hamilton
Come From Away - just Wow!
’New’ Les Misérables- found it even better
American In Paris - great choreography
Everybody’s Talking About Jamie - just very good
& Juliet - just good fun
Nine To Five - surprisingly fun
and the disappointments...
Falsettoes - theatre uncomfortable and just not my type of show
Big - didn’t hit the mark in several ways
Bat Out Of Hell - loved the music and the set but what about that storyline?
