Poor Jenna Russell, she lost Piaf and now this! Piaf has been rescheduled for next year. I received an email from the Nottingham Playhouse.

I sent an email to the customer service team at the Adelphi last night and they have already responded about refunding tickets and the options available:
Exchange your tickets to see Joseph;
Transfer your booking to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat when it returns to The London Palladium next year and get a free upgrade on your tickets.
Receive an LW Credit Voucher
If you're unsure of your plans at the moment or have your eye on another show in our theatres, why not opt for an LW Credit Voucher. We'll send you a credit voucher for the full value of your booking which you can redeem against any show in any of our theatres.
The vouchers are valid for 18 months and redeemable online.
Receive a full refund:
If you purchased tickets with your debit or credit card, your booking will automatically be refunded.

Transfer your booking to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat when it returns to The London Palladium next year and get a free upgrade on your tickets. So presumably the best thing to do is to contact them about refunding, then you get a seat upgrade? If you just accept the change, you stay in the seat band you previously booked. Edit - just realised this post and the one before should probably be in the Joseph thread.

My post above is about Hello Dolly! at the Adelphi.
Transferring your tickets to see Joseph at the Palladium in 2021 is a refund option. You can contact the customer services team to arrange it if you want to make the change.

Sorry I was confused as the emails about Joseph also came around today. Looks like we don't have to do anything to get refunded for Hello Dolly, which is a nice change.

Looks like we don't have to do anything to get refunded for Hello Dolly, which is a nice change. Except wait until after 12 June, which is when they'll start refunding, in order to give people the option to take Joseph tickets or a voucher instead. But I agree, nice that for once the refund is the default.

I’ve sent in my request for Joesph tickets. Looks like I might see it 3 times next summer!

Kind of weird that there is no number to call in the email (changed my credit card info) and the Adelphi Box Office number doesn't work at the moment.

Sometimes social media managers can be more on top of it — unless they've been laid off. Did you try there?

Refund on my credit card this morning! That’s the way to do it - refund as default, give people some other options, let them know when the refunds will be done and get them done promptly.

My refund through this morning. That's the 2nd refund from LW theatres with no hassle and the moved my Joseph ticket to next year with same seat. Very impressed with the way they have handled things.

Has anyone with a performance date in November had a refund yet?

Has anyone with a performance date in November had a refund yet? They said they were going to do refunds in date order. I got mine last week for 1st preview in August so you may have a little wait for November.

The Crown has now been recommissioned for series 6 after all and it appears Imelda will star - going by the fact series 5 is set to start filming Spring 2021 you would expect series 6 to film at some point in 2022. Might Hello Dolly end up December 2022-June 2023?

I’m not so sure - there was only a six month break in between shooting season three and season four, and I just can’t see Imelda committing to filming all day and performing all night. I’m not sure she could commit to both productions.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're doing what they did Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones which is more episodes but shorter seasons.

I wouldn't be surprised if she does a shorter run in Dolly to accommodate The Crown. The other alternatives are that The Crown films two series back to back, or films series 6 much later after Imelda has finished Dolly. It doesn't have a guaranteed air date yet so all of those are possible.

Possible, but is it really feasible for a new production to only run so long? I know SITPWG was doing something similar but at least that was a transfer of sorts. The Crown is a huge beast with many moving parts, so presumably that will take precedence. Hello Dolly can be built around Imelda, but then there’s the question of theatre availability.

I can't say I know masses about the royal family but at this point isn't the Crown more about the younger generation? Wasn't Olivia Coleman was able to do two jobs at once as the Queen slowly had to share screen time with the other relatives?
Not at all suggesting Imelda would want to be in Hello Dolly while filming but as suggested the gap between series could be doable as The Crown may be less demanding than you'd think.

What was Colman's second job? She was doing the awards circuit and winning an Oscar while filming but she didn't go to all the awards shows so I'm not sure it really counted as a second job. Was she filming something else?

Was she filming something else? Now you're testing me, hmm, so long ago, I could be completely wrong but I thought she was filming something else, maybe it was only something where she had a small part so wasn't needed much and that coulf be filmed easily be around her Crown dates, especially during say Aberfan or the Margaret or Charles heavy episodes. I know that the Crown have a pretty set in stone schedule unlike some big features that are all over the place and changing all the time. So she'd have been able to schedule other work around it if she wanted. However not enough time for Imelda to do rehearsals! Often there are actors that have to finish for the day by 3pm every day so they can be driven to the theatre but Imelda would be crazy to do that. Also it would make all the location work on the Crown almost impossible and the majority of the filming is on location.
