It was the talk of the new ‘War of the Worlds’ cast reminded me how good his voice was in that...Quite sure he’ll be nowhere near it. and Eva has some pipes on her h-actually and would easily manage a spell as Roxie Hart (wished no one ever).

This is frankly getting ridiculous now. It shows a total lack of respect by the ENO to the audience and those who have bought tickets. Considering their supposed standing it shows a very level of management and organisation that at this late stage no details have bee released.

They also seem to be totally ignoring any enquiries on social media. There are several questions from myself and others regarding it on Facebook which have gone unanswered

I’m telling you! Shayne Ward, Lee Ryan, one of B*Witched (preferably the singing one) as Florence and Faye from Steps as Svetlana.

Faye from Steps as Svetlana. Well Steps did cover I Know Him so Well, so she knows some of the words at least.

There is no cast, they are just going to play the cd while they spin and tilt the giant chessboard!

Mans Zelmerlow, Petra Mede, and Tommy Korberg reprising his Anatoly for the 15000th time?
With Mel Giedroyc as Svetlana to bring in the punters, obviously.

Id actually pay good money to see that cast. Never seen Mans in the flesh unfortunately, but saw Petra Mede when she hosted Eurovision 60th Anniversary and she was great. One of the best hosts ever plus she can sing.

What if we’ve been totally missing the obvious on this and it’s gonna be Elaine Paige? Can you imagine if that happened?!

Something must have happened with cast members falling through. Getting ridiculous now!

Mans would be great casting for the American - but he probably isn't a big enough name to shift tickets. There are very few people who follow Eurovision enough to care about who he is

Literally nobody needs to worry about the cast. The tilting lighting up mega revolving chessboard will be the star!
It's even more key than turbans are to Sunset.
Btw pretty though she may well be, can Mans act?

^ He managed to act as if he was mildly amused by Mel Giedroyc’s disastrous attempts at live comedy and commentary when they hosted the Eurovision show together the other night. That must have taken an awful lot of acting. I’m thinking particularly of the bit where he presented her with a piece of ‘Brighton rock’ (from the nudist beach no less) and she proceeded to lick it, trying to get a laugh by telling us all it tasted of dog wee. We all cringed but Mans chuckled as per the script. A true pro. Give him the part, I say!

From seeing the first preview in 86 and many times after that in london tours and amateur productions i feel Philip Jalmelid would be perfect for the role of Anotoly. Not a big name i know but youtube him. And tell me i am wrong

A known face with far less talent can often be the way producers go.

“In talks” is quite broad . If japhun could perhaps elaborate on sources?

Lady Gaga must have fell through because if her illness...they were most definitely in talks with her. Girl, whatever... haha I had two different sources tell me that! One who knows people at the ENO and one who knows a related agent! I wouldn't just type that I promise!
