I’m in that photo and have already acted them off the stage as you can see.

Hopefully it won’t be another 30yrs before it gets another revival. The musical score is too good not to be heard again.

Couldn’t resist getting one last trip in before it closed today and managed to get a rush ticket this morning to enjoy it all over again.
Cassidy stood out straight away today and really wowed me, she really hit the ground running as soon as she started singing today.
Michael and Tim were both on top form, another fantastic and powerful performance of Anthem and Pity The Child leaves me breathless, he manages to put so much emotion in to that song.
Alexandra didn’t seem quite as strong to me on second viewing and as I’ve been listening to the various recordings since I went a few weeks ago I didn’t totally appreciate her ‘poppy’ take on some of the melodies. Saying that though her He’s A Man, He’s A Child once it gets going is a fantastic song that she performs extremely well.
I do feel very lucky to have been able to this production and as others have said it’s unlikely we’ll get a production on this scale again (certainly with this scale or orchestra and chorus).

I’d like to suggest they do a Sondheim as that was the first composer they did at the ENO - maybe something like Night Music? Or I’d like to see Oklahoma if they did R+H Turns out to be Notre Dame de Paris - or this might be an extra musical at the ENO in 2019.

Cassidy has perfected channeling her inner Elaine whilst acting like Bonnie Langford. And if anyone has had the chance to see La Langford completely flooring it on 'Eastenders' these past couple of weeks will know that that's actually not a bad thing. I don't think I've seen a portrayal of grief done so brilliantly well in a long time.

Opera Norths production of Kiss me Kate is the next musical to be staged at the Coliseum. Notre is a musical that is to be staged at the Coliseum. ENO stage operas, operettas and with commercial assistance musicals at the Coliseum. Notre, like Kate has sod all to do with ENO.

'On Your Feet' is going into the Coliseum in the middle of June next year - so yes, there appears to be a gap in the schedule for another ENO/Grade-Linnit musical revival before then.

I would assume she has a better/more lucrative offer. Unless the advance ticket sales for her tour were poor.
If I were the fiancé I would be ever so worried that the wedding may be cancelled because "the timing wasn't right" and she had a better offer!

My hunch is that she’ll be cast as Deena for a few months before Dreamgirls closes, and she’ll join the tour too. I could be completely wrong.

For a solo artist, it is highly unlikely you could ever get a better offer both in terms of career move or money than a solo tour. I would guarantee it was cancelled because of poor ticket sales (unless she is suffering from a personal issue). Hopefully she can find some other work.

The moderators will be having a nervous breakdown!!!
