It feels like he's been in it for about 25 years ... although only appearing in approximately 4-5 performances a week ... His bio on Twitter describes him as "Full-time Dad, Part-time Actor" - he must have meant it literally!

With it touring to places like Milton Keynes, Woking, Bromley and Wimbledon, I’d assume it won’t be running concurrently with the production in the West End. Possible a final extension through the summer to be announced?

Tour announced, I think it may be the case we do see the show leave London soon (I hope to be there for the final performance!) as Wimbledon is on the tour.
I have loved having this show here, I first saw on Broadway!
I truly hope we get a Broadway musical transfer in its place!

I thought it odd that the tour would be going to York Theatre Royal. Turns out it isn't. They've only gone and used the wrong photo.
They have used the right photo for Manchester Opera House, but the link takes you to the Palace Theatre.
Those new CRM Executives can't start soon enough!

Saw this tonight for the first time. I’m not gonna lie, for a long time I had no interest in seeing it, I had this idea in my head that it would be really cheesy and a bit rubbish, but I’d always thought I’d give it a go at some point. An old close friend of mine is in it so I used that as my excuse, even though I’d been saying for about 6 months I’d see it, I finally did tonight!
Honestly I loved it! I don’t think I can fault it much at all. I’m not saying it’s the best show on the west end, but I just enjoyed it from start to finish, nothing felt off, or cheesy, I liked all the songs, it was funny. I really wish I had seen it sooner now.

Saw the show this afternoon, went in with low expectations but actually thought it was okay!
Throughly enjoyed Aimie Atkinson as Vivian, I liked how she made the role her own and didn't seem a copy of Julia Roberts. Courtney Bowman was great as Kit, what a voice! Great to see two Six Queens I had seen before!
I liked Andy Barke as Happy Man/Mr Thompson, thought he was fun and comical how he appeared in different scenes.
The opera part blew me away, amazing vocals.
John Addison was on as Edward and I did feel he was doing a copy of Richard Gere!
Walked away thinking I hadn't made a BIG...HUGE mistake seeing it finally.

I really wish I had seen it sooner now. I saw this on Broadway twice with two different leads. Loved both. My second time was with actors that have extraordinary rock voices. They were amazing and so different. The London production is a scaled down version, similar to Hamburg. Yes, Im a theatre geek that saw both Tina and Pretty Woman in german in Hamburg. What the creators got right was teaching Vivian to dance and not which fork to use while dining. Jerry Mitchell is a masterful creator.

Closing June 18th. Frees up another theatre! It does but I'm not getting the sense at the minute that there's a mad clamour for theatres with lots of shows circling to land. I hope I'm wrong but lots of theatres look like they may be going dark soon with no word of anything coming in.

I wonder what's going into the Harold Pinter that means ALL can't just extend there? Also wonder if same cast will go with it to the Savoy, as they will be pretty exhausted by the 18th June, no doubt.

PW closes in June and we are currently in March, plenty of time for a replacement show at the Savoy to be announced.

Perhaps Tammy Faye? Seems like a good fit for the theater and it’s a great location. Though Mr B…have you heard Tammy Faye for another theater in the fall?

While I am so looking forward to hearing about next steps and a theatre for TAMMY FAYE, this theatre could go to another Elton John-penned show that is looking for a theatre....and it may not be the one you think.

Presumably Aida, although I was hoping for somewhere a bit more physically imposing.

My hunch, and it's only that, is that Tammy Faye might go to either the Duke of York's or Noel Coward in the autumn.

Seems a bit too soon for a reworked Devil Wears Prada, and isn't the new Aida in Europe for summer? Unless you mean they will be after something else that's having a short run over the summer?
