Bought my ticket already! Although I was on one site, selected a ticket at £45 and in the space of confirming it doubled in price...
Luckily I found the original price for a similar seat on another site. Book fast folks before they all catch on!

So excited for this being filmed and softens the blow of it closing a little! I'm guessing it'll be for a cinema release but are we to get a future DVD release too?

It's filming from the 26th - 28th but only for 3 shows, I'm presuming the Wednesday matinee will not be filmed and that will be the regular cast ?

I'm tempted to go, and those front row seats are dreamy, but where will the cameras be, I wonder. Ooh, this is all very exciting. I might nip in to the box office tomorrow and ask if they know anything yet.

Amy has joined Holby City so she won’t be in it, and other Amy still has some time left in Wicked, so I think it’ll just be the 2 OG leads.

Hmmmm, I personally am not happy with this. They have two perfectly able and great leads at the moment and if they would have gone full on Original Cast, I might have been ok with it, but this is feels like quite a slap in the face to the two current leads. Also, on a personal level, I find Killian very irritating whenever I see him on stage (ooooooh controversial!!! LOL), so for me the fact they are bringing him back will mean I won't bother watching this. But hey, that's just me.

My friend brought up the point that Simon and Oli were offered an extra week's holiday to make up for them missing the recording, as Jordan and Jemal are on for the latter part of the week as Charlie and Lola.

I'm more excited about Matt coming back to be honest, I've seen about 5 Lola's now and no one even comes close to his portrayal.
My favourite Charlie is still Paul Ayres.

I've been off work and busy at home so only checked my ipad around midnight last night to see this. DAMMIT! Managed to get a rear stalls ticket through See Tix at discounted rate for the Wednesday night (I'm at A Christmas Carol on the Monday) and am thrilled, thrilled I tell ya! I was there at their first night and the respective last nights and I'm there again for this one! Thrilled!

There's no announcement wether this will be for cinema or DVD or both. I would think it's more likely to be a DVD or even possibly on one of the streaming services such as Netflix/Amazon.
I would kill to see it on a huge imax screen though!

I can't find the tweet now, but I saw earlier fans were already planning their applause to make it as over the top as possible... Killian and Matt can expect entrance applause at all three shows based on the tweet. I think it got deleted but I'll try and find it. |
