Lincoln Center's My Fair Lady (Celinde Schoenmaker as Eliza Doolittle), at either Aldwych or Drury Lane for Covent Garden setting. Song and Dance at Menier/Donmar. Very intimate and minimalistic, Jamie Lloyd-ish. Top Hat, keeping the choreography by Bill Deamer Miss Saigon - Open Air Theatre Merrily We Roll Along - Cadogan Hall concert Flower Drum Song - to tick off the R&H list xD

Would love to see Oliver! restaged on the Sean Kenny set. I saw a replica of Peter Coe's original production with this set as a child and its the most wonderful set design ever.

I think an Oliver! revival directed by Bartlett Sher would be interesting.

The helicopter would be tricky at Regents Park. Unless they got a real one! I seem to recall that they actually used a real chopper in a production of miss Saigon somewhere in the Far East once, or have I completely imagined that?

Nope, the old fur between the ears is hiding something functional. They did. Hungary may have moved to the far right unfortunately, but not to the Far East, I believe. Anyway, you are probably talking about something else, but they also used a real helicopter at the Open Air in Szeged way back in 1994....

I seem to recall that they actually used a real chopper in a production of miss Saigon somewhere in the Far East once, or have I completely imagined that? And how thrilling would that be? I'm sure Sir Cameron has enough money to get one. Also love the new profile picture although I hope the phone still goes away during performances

The Witches of Eastwick - it’s the 20th anniversary of the original London production this year! Though I think every single subsequent production has made alterations from the last (adding new songs, dropping old songs, script changes etc) so goodness know which version they would do... Would also love to see a hybrid London/tour production of Martin Guerre

Kiss Of The Spiderwoman (why, why, why hasn't it been since in London since the 90's) I agree re Song and Dance and that Jamie Lloyd could do something very interesting with it.

I think Stephen Ward could be reworked to put the focus more on Profumo and Keeler - as they are at the centre of the narrative. Ward - whilst interesting - is not a compelling central character and thus it was always going to be a difficult book choice to make work.
Especially in light of the recent Trial Of Christine Keeler series.

Miss Saigon, I only ever saw it for the first time during its run at the Prince Edward a few years ago and I also saw the Tour in Edinburgh in 2018.
I love it so much and would be there quite often.
