Wouldn't mind a proper massive revival of Ragtime in like the Olivier or a big open space like that. Yes, a big massive revival of it, please. This is one I've always longed to see a great production of!

Starlight Express was meant to happen this year, in a tent somewhere, the role of Pearl had been cast.
Matin Guerre could be the ENO musical next year, Cameron Mackintosh hinted whilst covering Elaine Paige.
Love to see Beauty and the Beast again, Rent is always great, someone mentioned Song and Dance, which I am surprised that Chichester Festival hasn’t done this, the Sussex crowd would go for this. Love to see Whistle Down the Wind again.
Also Parade.

A real revival of Aspects of Love. The recent one's with the super "scaled down" (i.e. Cheap) productions and worse yet, orchestrations don't count for me.

I think it would work in a fringe studio, but I don't think it would stand up in a large house at all. It really isn't strong enough in its book, I think. The motivations are fine if kept small, but don't expand to fill the house. Wouldn't mind a proper massive revival of Ragtime in like the Olivier or a big open space like that It was awful at Regent's Park Open Air, but that may just have been the casting and direction. Works best in a small environment, too, I think - see Spider. I didn't realise the Open Air Theatre had done it because that was a space I had in mind when suggesting it haha. Shame it wasn't good but the Broadway cast recording is so gorgeous that I'd love to see a proper revival on that scale.

Was watching the film of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang yesterday and thought (as crazy as it may sound) the Watermill in Newbury could be a BRILLIANT place to do it at given the rural countryside surrounding it has like the Potts family home. Of course easier said than done, but I hope there's a creative director and design team that could make it work - the Watermill did Oliver! a few years ago so surely it's not too far off that in terms of casting (though of course that didn't have a flying car).
...Either that or Regents Park could work!

A ginormous restaging of ‘Tommy’, a small home for Bruce Guthries ‘Rent’ revival and ‘Martin Guerre’ at the ENO sounds like a magnificent idea.

Shame it wasn't good but the Broadway cast recording is so gorgeous that I'd love to see a proper revival on that scale. I’ve seen Ragtime twice; Once at the Ford Centre in Toronto (pre Broadway), and once at the Open Air, Regents Park. Total polar opposite productions in terms of scope and success. Whatever they were going for at the OAT with it’s modern set and odd staging choices was a total misfire - and one that I couldn’t forget fast enough. Marin Mazzie & Audra McDonald gave powerhouse performances that filled that vast Toronto stage. There was nothing at Regents Park that made it over the footlights. SO yes. While I’d love to see a revival I’d hope that it would be on a scale befitting this book and that score which, to-date, London has never seen. Totally disagree with you @theatremonkey about the book to Kiss of The SpiderWoman. I assume you saw the Hal Prince production at The Shaftesbury? I went god knows how many times - mostly in the Grand Circle. I thought it filled that pretty large theatre totally (surprising considering probably 70% of it revolves around a prison cell) and has a very strong book. Well maybe less so in the last 20 minutes, but still. And a small scale production was never going to cast Chita and Bebe who were both electric.

Childen of Eden, Moby Dick and Baker's Wife also (never gonna happen lol). I would dearly love to see that Piccadilly Theatre production of Moby Dick back in London EXACTLY as it was on it’s last night (which I happened to catch purely by chance on a recommendation). SUCH a fun, unpretentious, riotous night of theatre/panto with a great young cast and some wonderfully creative staging and design. Not sure any of the changes they’ve subsequently made do anything to improve the show. In fact the reverse. The original London Children of Eden directed by John Caird is something I really wished I had seen and it is the only version I listen to. A cast of future West End stars and another legendary Napier set. I’d definitely be up for this revival.

A concert version of Evita with LuPone as Eva (she seemed to be able to still sing it in the original keys a few years ago in her London concerts), Michael Ball as Che and Roger Allam as Peron. I know they’re all too old for the roles and that’s why I said a concert version. Not sure who I’d have as Magaldi and the mistress.

I’m sure I heard Children of Eden was having a revival but can’t remember where or when I heard it - it’s absolutely not something I’d make up though.

I assume you saw the Hal Prince production at The Shaftesbury? Yes, and indeed the fact you said the last 20 minutes doesn't work is the point. The book is flawed - flawed enough that a simple revival isn't a good idea as that was what got it shot down first time, and these days we are even less forgiving at £125 a pop. Children of Eden was having a revival Has been done on the fringe Union Theatre in 2016, and concerts too. Another that has a book too messy to work now, I fear. Eden: Many moons ago I caught a student production in the actors church. A cast of 10, some scaffold and the drama worked a treat. This atheist found it really moving!

Another vote for Martin Guerre (if it's a mix of the London and UK Tour production) and also Starlight Express (if it's a full blown production with the race track and not that ridiculous 3D screen). Starlight was the very first show I saw in London when I came down from Scotland for my 18th birthday many moons ago so it holds a special place in my heart. I'd also happily buy tickets for a revival of Ragtime and Rent, heck throw in a Jekyll and Hyde revival as well (as long as the Hoff isn't playing the lead).

I know Mame is playing in Manchester later in the year but I'd love a full scale glitzy West End production.
And pretty please On The Twentieth Century. What about Applause and Woman Of The Year?
Further votes for Ragtime and Parade

I'm totally on the train for a propper Startlight Express Revival, nothing has come close for to to the original (granted updated) version in London! To be honest I think I'd settle for a propper filmed English version filmed in the theatre in Bochum! I've not seen it on here yet, but I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to see a full fledged production of the Secret Garden! The cast for the 2016 Manhattan Concert production was insane, and I've seen and heard clips, but full production of that was be There were rumours/talks of a world/arena tour of Lord of the Rings, but either something similar to that or a new production (maybe at Regents Part Open Air?) would be beautiful! Though I'd only be happy if Laura Michelle Kelly reprised her role as Galadriel. I don't want much do I?

Assassins! I believe it was on at the Menier Chocolate Factory recently but I’d love to see it in the west end proper. I second Into the Woods, and Sweeney Todd. I’d also like to see a west end revival of the Rocky Horror Show, perhaps something different to the current touring production.
