Has the front of the theatre been changed or in the process of being changed for Annie yet? I know they are doing the Russian thing for a week or two, but they wouldn't do the front of the theatre up for that.

If the producers will pay for it, they'll put it up - 10 days is 10 days!

I'm not too surprised some signage has gone up, as I believe the main poster is now on a virtual screen (like that at the Prince Edward), so minimal effort is required. Unless the screen was just for the end of Jersey Boys and now they have gone back to physical signs. If the screen hadn't been virtual I presume they would've just put the Annie signs up.

Ah yes that's very true. That main 'poster' does look like the screen that was updated during Jersey Boys. So just posters & banners, you're right! Which still doesn't come cheap, I'm sure, but still less than it would've.

Oh that's a point too, I didn't think of that. Well least it makes the re-do after this for Annie and then whatever happens after Annie won't be too big a turnaround.

Is it just me or are they leaving it awfully late to announce the full cast?

It is indeed the digital screen! Indeed it is a digital screen and one I see staying there permentely, maybe ATG paid for the screen and the installation and the production company have to pay ATG to use it?

Is it just me or are they leaving it awfully late to announce the full cast? It's just you. The only member of the full cast who I've heard of is Miranda Hart so there was no point announcing it any earlier. (I may have heard of a Labradoodle called Amber but can't be sure it's the same one).

To be honest, the world can only be a brighter place the more Labradoodles it has in it.
I've heard of Holly Dale Spencer, but she's not on my list of "if cast, book immediately" performers...

The girl named Madeleine Haynes who has been cast as Annie also played Annie on the UK Tour and she has one of the best voices I've ever heard in a little girl and was an excellent actress too so I'm happy to see her back
I don't really know any of the ensemble other than Ben and I agree that he is some good eye candy, how shallow of me lol

I saw Jonny Fines in "Altar Boyz" at Greenwich. Would class him as "eye candy" cheesy116.

And she might choose to face forwards instead in this run.

I can't say I remember much about that bit you're picking at but I'll take your word for it It certainly isn't a show I'm in a mad rush to see but I'll maybe make a visit at some point over the summer

Every show needs a piece of eye candy. Alot of the time there is at least one in the ensemble, and its handy, especially if the show is pants, you have something to watch!

Ben Mundy is off-stage swing on this production though, so you'll have to choose your dates carefully otherwise you may be sorely disappointed!

Aren't all swings off the stage until they're needed ?! I thought I knew all the theatre phrases by now

Nice to see the leads from the tour have come back.
