Maybe this is hinting towards a staircase?

a short special effect implies somehing like the quick change, not a piece of set like the bridge, unless something happens on the bridge?

When you click on the link to purchase tickets for O2 customers today, does it take to LW theatres, Disney, or some place else? On LW Theatres, the show isn't even listed as coming soon, though Cinderella is listed...

So has anyone who isn't an O2 customer got an email yet? I certainly haven't. And if anyone has an O2 link I can use that would also be very appreciated... I understand what you mean HereForTheatre, but I love seeing the likes of Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, SITPWG early on in the run, and I've found if I get in earlier I can get the decent cheaper seats instead of the expensive or rubbish ones that tend to be available after the initial scurry.

I've caved in, gone back and no queue whatsoever, straight to the booking page. Now the "proud" possessor of a preview ticket, row D, £59.50. I might be near you, Monkey!

Back stalls and royal seats 'may miss a short special effect high above the stage'. No mention for the Grand and Balcony. Anyone know what this might be? I've seen the show twice in NY and I missed the theatre walls turning into ice when I sat 4 row orchestra, as it was happening above and behind me, but got it when I sat in the front mezzanine. That's probably what they are referring to. The rope bridge is mid stage so you should be able to see it from the there. I hope I haven't spoiled the show by revealing this. Due to the depth of the Drury Lane stage will help to expand the size of the sets and I hope the space under the stage will be utilized as well to make the first 'frozen' effect more spectacular. Please don't sit upstairs if you can avoid and afford it. The choreography is best enjoyed from the stalls. I hope they restore some of the show's action for London. In New York they have reduced both acts 65-60 minutes each for the children. So it is now 2 hours and 15 minutes (with one interval) on my second visit when it was 2:35 just after opening night.

O2 Priority has been culled due to the issues with the booking system.
Isn't due to restart until 29th and then they will have a further 48 hour slot.
What tickets will be left after that for the official pre-sale, who knows but I suspect they'll be a lot of confused people when they find so many tickets have been sold already, not knowing this pre-pre sale was a thing.

The pre-sales are only getting select seats in the theater, I would say 40-50% of the theater is currently being held back (probably for March 6th)

Yeah presales are very rarely worth it, it's almost always a PR exercise more than anything and more seats are added later in general sale

On the o2 Priority site:
We've made the difficult decision to delay our Frozen pre-sale due to unforeseen issues that have arisen with our partner’s ticketing platform for the Theatre Royal Drury Lane over the last 24 hours.
This pre-sale is scheduled to go live again later this week, at which time Priority customers will have another exclusive, 48 hour period to purchase your tickets before anyone else.
Priority wants to ensure that all customers have a fair and equal chance to book their tickets. For those of you who received a unique booking link but were unable to purchase any tickets, rest assured your link will still work in the new pre-sale window.
We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. There are plenty of tickets and dates that will still be available to purchase.

Disney has made the difficult decision to delay the Frozen priority on sale due to issues that have arisen with our partner’s ticketing platform for the Theatre Royal Drury Lane over the last 24 hours.
Priority booking will now take place next week.
Disney wants you to have the best and smoothest booking experience possible, and we have therefore come to the conclusion that it is better to wait a few more days and resolve any outstanding problems.
Please be assured, there will be just as many tickets available for you to book when priority booking does take place.

Being a bit dim here - for those of us clever/stupid enough (delete as applicable!) to have booked a ticket in the O2 pre-sale, I presume it is still valid? I received email confirmation of my priority booking, which was just before they withdrew the pre-sale.

Exactly one hour wait. Got my first choice of dates and the seats I wanted. Can't complain apart from the "frozen" hiatus!
