I saw this on Thursday evening and really enjoyed it, despite my initial disappointment that five understudies were on (including for Elsa, Anna and Kristoff). I was particularly upset not to see Steph McKeon after hearing such great things.
Danielle Fiamanya was on as Elsa and she was really excellent! What a voice.
Audience behaviour was mostly good - particularly the children sat near me. I had more issues with adults than with any kids.
And as others have said, the theatre has had a truly stunning refurb.

Surprised Steph is leaving as, for me, she was the best cast member. I can only think she has been offered another role.

I'm intrigued by the new schedule too. No 7pm performances at weekends any more from 19th Nov, and in the spring Wednesday changes to a matinee so the only 7pms are Thursday and Friday!

Ooh, interesting...Has anyone seen Emily Lane as Anna? She must have really impressed! I wonder why the role wasn't given to Sarah O'Connor, guess she must be leaving? Also slightly surprised that Samantha is staying on considering all the rumours about her leaving, but to be fair if I got to wear that dress for work I wouldn't want to leave either 😂

It might be complete coincidence, but I feel it's worth mentioning Emily's dad is David Ian...

Also sort of not surprised Sam is staying - two days off a week, and what she must be being paid by Disney

Nothing wrong at all, but nothing wow either. I can see why she may not have been lead material

Some interesting covers: Char Burnett will be the new 1st cover Anna, Caitlin Tipping 1st cover Elsa, Danny Becker 1st cover Kristoff, Rodney Vubya 1st? cover Hans.

Will be interesting to see if Disney reign him in on those rather trashy social media antics. I don’t think they’d approve of their Hans shoving his backside into little kiddies faces when they look him up on Instagram.

Yeah, and do Disney value the order of their dots?

Yeah, and do Disney value the order of their dots? I'm more surprised about the social media thing. I have a couple of friends who worked for the House of Mouse, one as a Cast Member at a park, the other on a show. They take social media extremely seriously. There is the 58 page "Employee Policy Manual", plus the 24 page "Standards of Business Conduct" - both are freely available via Google. In short, if he carries on bringing his employers into disrepute, he is looking at instant summary dismissal for breach of contract.

Niko Wirachman worked for them on Aladdin and his instagram posts have always bordered on soft porn.

As long as it doesn't cross the line, I don't think it would be a problem. The slagging off your employer though... Disney aren't too keen on that.

Ok I apologise to whoever said on this board that working in showbiz doesn’t carry the same behaviour standards as working in an office and we all shot them down. They were correct. Whoever gave Rodney Vubya another west end role clearly gives zero F***s about Frozen following his ridiculously shameful diva like behaviour over on Cinderella. He’s either got friends in high places hence the attitude that he would never be sacked after so many warnings. Or Kids out of drama school find and court Vubya’s agent. They’re clearly the best in the business at glittering a t***

It could be a case that Cinderella was so toxic it pushed people to behave in ways otherwise they wouldn't have.
Disney are a good employer, but firm. If it happens again the problem will be proven to be with him rather than the show.

Well, I for one will NOT be seeing Frozen if Rodney Vubya is in the cast so eat THAT Disney! 😠
(I wasn’t going to see it anyway, I’ve been and I thought it was pants 😌)

There's some irony here that Disney Dave probably wishes we would all 'Let it go'...

This show is absolutely NOT playing to capacity audiences. Lies lies lies.
