I thought Samantha Barks was due to reprise her role in Pretty Woman? Presumably she thought Frozen would be the better gig. Or she'd already signed up to do Chess in Japan before they sorted the dates for Pretty Woman and decided she'd rather stick to that! |

when i listen to her singing Eponine i cannot imagine her belting this role 8 times a week
would have loved someone with a more powerful voice
i think i will watch it in Hamburg then

disappointed tbh when i listen to her singing Eponine i cannot imagine her belting this role 8 times a week would have loved someone with a more powerful voice i think i will watch it in Hamburg then She belts out a lot of the Pretty Woman songs- have you heard them? |

Personally I didn't have much interest in seeing this show, but to an extent seeing Caissie Levy performing two of the numbers at her concert at Cadogan Hall had made think that maybe there could be a value in seeing that character growth, that heart and commitment, plus of course those numbers sounded amazing when delivered by Caissie. And now this... means that no, I doubt I'll bother to visit Arendelle @ Royal Drury Lane. |

I can't help but think this is awful casting. I love Sam but absolutely not for this. I really want to be proved wrong though!  |

I read that they’re really going to evolve Frozen for London (and they’re introducing a new song for Elsa), and I hope they do, because honestly, it’s just not that good musical. I saw it in nyc and it just didn’t have the magic I was hoping for. And like others have said, Caissie and Patti just felt a bit too old for the roles, imo.
