Does anyone know if Lulu has had a positive effect on business levels / ticket sales since she joined the cast?. If not the producers should just let Steph take over when Lulu’s contract ends - that is unless Tracie Bennett steps in of course!,,

Does anyone knows what is happening to Graeme Henderson? He has not been on for so long

A video has appeared on YouTube (I won't link so as to not break rules), but its of the Finale after the bows. Sheena is still there so it is the Original Cast. I get the feeling it was cast change due to the audience reaction, as there is cheers throughout the entire number, heightened at the big bits, which from what I can remember, is what happened.

I've heard low-key murmurings Lulu may well be staying an additional few weeks to grab that Summer business. Just murmurings though, things could change.

I wouldn't be surprised. She is really enjoying herself. Will really depend on if she has anything else booked in, summer festivals etc. are big business.

Extending wouldn't surprise me. It's the usual scarcity marketing tactic. Announce it as a limited run to get people in, but with plans to extend in most cases.
Seems to be working. The posters advertising Lulu are all over the tube network too and she gets an excellent reception from the general public, which is who the advertising is aimed at.
After that, I see them replacing with a star if they're planning to last out the year, or a non-name if they just want to last the summer. A lot depends on if there's anyone suitable available, of course.

Anyone missing Lulu tonight (Steph is on As Dorothy), she is selling her beauty range on QVC now. She was contracted to do this before signing up to the show so they've given her the day off!

Philip Bertioli is on as Billy Lawler tonight (and all weekend) for anyone wanting to see him. I've booked for tonight, which will be my first chance to catch him in the role.
There were lots of covers on yesterday (don't know if it's vacation season or illness season), so it will be interesting to see what mix of the cast is on.

Ooh I might pop up for the Saturday matinee if Philip's going to be on! I may do the same. It looks to be understudy heavy. Ella Martine is on holiday as of today, as is Ashley Day and Matthew Goodgame, and Grahame Henderson has been off a fair bit as of late, assuming due to illness. And then obviously if Emma and Mark are still off. So the understudy list for sure thus far will be: Billy Lawlor (Philip Bertioli) - Confirmed Pat Denning (Alyn Hawke) - Confirmed Lorraine (Lisa Dent) - Confirmed Andy Lee (Ryan Gover- assuming Martin McCarthy is on holiday)

Alyn has tweeted about how excited he is to kiss Luiu tonight, so that gives away his role.
Although I feel someone should warn him Lulu has been kissing a lot of different men this week already.

Graham Henderson was back tonight as Andy Lee, I presume because they were very short of people. He looked like he was struggling unfortunately, continually blinking, especially when slightly out of sight at the side of the stage. Might be an infection, or I’ve had a similar reaction with light sensitivity in the past.
He also had a near trip during Lullaby.
They were short of people as Alyn Hawke was on as split tracks, both as Pat Denning and also in the male ensemble. And in the second half, where one of the small male ensemble leaps into a praying pose to appeal to Julian about Peggy, the role was played by a girl.
The other covers on were Lisa Dent as Lorraine and Philip Bertilio as Billy Lawlor.
Philip was great and, apart from messed up line at the start, you wouldn’t know he wasn’t playing the role full time. He even brought back the cartwheel in We’re In The Money.
The big problem was the vocal sound levels were quiet, particularly with Philip to the extent you couldn’t even make out his words or hear him over the backing in some of the songs. Really bad in Dames, which is a shame as I’m sure he was singing it well.
Also experienced a rude Australian, which is in the bad behaviour thread.
Overall, good as always apart from the sound. Great to have seen more of the covers too.

I tweeted Ryan Gover telling him to shove someone down the stairs so I can see him understudy Saturday, he said it may well happen without stairs pushing so he may well be covering as Andy Lee after all.
