I think the reviews read a lot more positively overall than you might think if you just looked at the stars and saw a 2 and a few 3s in there, in addition to the 4s and 5. If that makes sense 😆

I haven't seen it. But, I have seen videos of the curtain call and from those alone, the curtain call could literally have been cut straight out of a panto anywhere in the country. Is that a bad thing? You decide. It's doesn't have to stay for long. Fun and frothy.

Whilst it was trash of the highest order, WWRY was the only live Queen music people got for a very long time. Adam Lambert was still second cover jodhpur filler in LA. I went twice mostly because I couldn’t believe it had possibly been that sh!t and I must have missed something. Alas, no. It truly was/is, but if people enjoy it I’m not going to look down on the brain dead halfwits am I? 😂

Jessie J will be releasing the show's original song "One More Try" as a single on Friday along with the cast recording. It's a great choice, her voice really suits the song (in the show it's a duet between Juliet and Romeo).

Let's be honest, the target audience for kids show aren't going to be influenced or put off by reviews in the likes of Telegraph.
The very positive word of mouth on social media will be what gets them in.

I remember hearing several Drag Race queens recounting how she muscled-in on their Australia tour demanding that she do a musical number, then arrived at the venue and ignored them all night. |

I can imagine.
I'd never deny that she's got an exceptional talent, but I don't like the way she channels it at all. I find her singing really unpleasant.

This was nice to find on my iPod this morning! Great to have a recording of One More Try which was a highlight of the show for me. I haven’t dared listen to the Jessie J version yet but so long as she doesn’t trill and warble too much it should be ok.

Sat on the couch, eating chocolate and listening to the OCR - living the dream! Great cast recording bringing back great memories of my visit. It might cold, dark and damp outside, but listening to the songs is enough to warm me up.
