I presume it's prerecorded. Otherwise how will the cast be able to perform?

It used to be Sunday Night At The London Palladium, so I'm presuming it is/was recorded on a Sunday, then bumped to wherever ITV had a hole in their schedule?

This has had so many bleedin' titles in its different incarnations. 1955-1965 it was Sunday Night at the London Palladium, 1966-1969 was The London Palladium Show, 1973-1974 went back to Sunday Night at the London Palladium, the 2000 short-lived revival (hosted by Sir Bruce Forsyth) was Tonight at the London Palladium, then 2014-2015 was just Sunday Night at the Palladium, with the next 8-part 2016 series being called Tonight at the London Palladium and will be hosted by Bradley Walsh, as opposed to a guest host every week.
As long as it's keeping variety alive with good acts, keeping the Palladium in use and still featuring musicals, they can call it whatever they like and show it on whatever night they like - I'll be watching!

They filmed tomorrow's episode at some point last week (possibly Tuesday). I walked past the Palladium and they had a queue and signs up for it etc.

Taping on Mondays I believe. I had a ticket for Monday 18th then realised I was at Dr Faustus same night. Tickets through SRO but can imagine it a huge queue on Monday night for seats as the tickets are free.
If I'm missing the Kinky Boots I'll be disappointed.

Do you know what they performed? I would've thought it could be maybe Raise you up/Just be or Everybody say yeah. i don't think they'll do Sex is in the Heel as they recently did that at the Oliviers. I'd like to see them do raise you up/just be but I think they'll do everybody say yeah (if they can get the conveyor belts there like for children in need)

I think Louise Gold might be voicing one of the puppets but I'm not certain.
Motown opened the show. I thought it was a fun performance. Kinky Boots might be closing the show.

According to the OP, Kinky Boots are on next week, no? I'd be surprised if they have 2 musicals perform on one show.

Maybe there'll be a preview at the end so we can work out which song they'll sing.

D'James said on the previous page that Kinky Boots might be closing the show (tonight's show) as Motown opened it - I was just checking/clearing up that they wouldn't be on

It was Louise Gold!!
Motown performed at the end too, so maybe we'll get two performances from Kinky Boots next week. Although, Motown's a bit of a different case I guess.

First year in many a year, I have no reason to go to the Iconic London Palladium.
Which is very sad.
