This is good - hilarious, sad, quietly subversive. A very short run, though - only playing until the 16th.

I caught this a couple of nights ago and it was a real unexpected treat. I thought the writing was fantastic, the characters totally believable and I cried both from laughter and sadness. It needs some tightening up, and possibly a bit of cutting here and there, but I think this deserves to be seen by a wider audience.

Enjoyed this a lot last night - really well drawn characters and packed a real punch. Full house from what I could see, too which was great. Hopefully it has another life somewhere else.

A really excellent debut play, written by and starring Nathan Wright, that has received some deservedly glowing reviews. A modern My Night with Reg, but also very original in its own right. A very positive representation of older Gay men, and relationships with younger men that are forged through friendship and love. Funny and moving and beautifully done. On at the Pleasance Downstairs until Saturday the 16th and definitely worth catching if you can. I'm sure it will have further life. Five stars.
