I can just picture Britney writhing around the stage, warbling, 'hit me, sisters, one more time,' as the Ugly Sisters do their worst. I wouldn't get too excited. If you look at her list of dates played (all 199!) performances from 2013 to now in her Vegas residency, she usually performs around 20/30 shows and then takes about 5-6 weeks off before going back. So I very much doubt it is a thing that will happen, her in Cinderella.
Let us not forget, Britney actually did tread the boards of Off-Broadway back in 1992/1993, as Understudy to Laura Bell Bundy in the musical Ruthless! 
Ruthless, now THAT'S a musical I desperately want to see. I have been completely and utterly obsessed (I mean *obsessed*) with the cast recording for YEARS. Somewhere like Jermyn Street would be perfect. |

I wasnt getting excited. Though the producers of Cinderella did at one stage suggest theyd settle for a star name doing a 5 minute cameo each show. Im sure Britney could manage that in her time off in a city she loves

Be a bit strange to have the cindrella barely appear. A big star cameo would suit the fairygodmother role more. (Who is mentioned right at the top of leaflets which could be a hint someone big is playing that role.

Im sure Britney could manage that in her time off in a city she loves I'm with ya gurl, having Britney come on stage for 5 minutes wouldn't be that tough, and would also be a fantasy of mine haha! I still need to catch her Vegas show which hopefully I can but she is only currently doing it until, if she sticks to her two year extension, December 2017.
... I have a hope she will tour it after though!

Final casting should be announced very soon! Baz tweeted someone a couple of weeks ago that It would be soon. Maybe tonight?! Would love to hear the rest of the cast

I've heard that the first anyone at RU knew about Britters was that Monday morning when someone in the office asked if they'd read the Sunday Mirror. Make of that what you will. Have you heard any possible date for the rest to be announced or who they may be. |

Makes me think that maybe in this production the Sisters will be played by the likes of a female comedy duo rather than men like in traditional panto and they will be announced alongside the casting of Ciderella and The Fairy Godmother.

Cinderella - A pop star (possibly American)
Ugly Sisters - two female comedians (French and Saunders as suggested or in my dreams Saunders and lumley)
Fairy Godmother - I imagine an older English actress such as Barbara Windsor
