Tour starts again at the Alexandra Theatre Birmingham 16 December to 6 January 2018. General onsale 10am Friday.
I expect more venues (mainly ATG) to be announced soon-ish.

Just seen their last ever London show, and I'm afraid to report that I'm rather underwhelmed. I've expected something special, e.g. an encore with former cast members, but we only got a short speech from the show's producer - and some confetti.
Audience was pretty enthusiastic with lots (and I mean LOTS) of applause and cheering (way too much for my liking tbh), but there were also some really annoying fans in today, especially one attention-seeking lady in the Grand Circle.
It was my first time seeing the show at this theatre not from A7, and I found my seat in the Grand Circle overpriced. Little leg room (I had an aisle seat so I could at least stretch one leg towards the aisle), despite row D pretty distant from the stage and parts of the safety rail were blocking my view. Definitely not worth £49.50.
Did they finally announce which show will be succeeding Jersey Boys at the Piccadilly Theatre? I've somehow lost track.

The original four Jersey Boys leads are all at the Hippodrome tonight - including Stephen Ashfield who has flown in from New York just for the day. They did a gig this afternoon and the aftershow party is currently going on. I have to say I don't regret going for this instead of the last performance of the actual show.

Ah yes, of course, how could I forget about Annie? I have to say I don't regret going for this instead of the last performance of the actual show. That was definitely the right choice. Had I known before how much of a non-event their last show was going to be, I wouldn't have booked it and rather have flown back home today instead of tomorrow morning - at 6.30am... |

Was at the Hippodrome and that show was great fun!
Seen the last three Jersey Boys. Was underwhelmed by that finale speach today too. Had expected more with so many former JB members in town. Dayle Hodge his last show yesterday was actually more emotional than the one today as he totally broke down with Fallen Angel and the audience started to cheer him trough the last part of the show.
Hope to catch the tour at some point cannot stay away from it 😊

Left the aftershow party at the Hippodrome half an hour ago. Perfect way to say goodbye to the show for me. The original four were always "my" Jersey Boys so catching up with them was great. Plus a couple of other former cast members hung around too.
Ryan Molloy sure knows how to put on a Jersey Boys reunion (something the producers of the actual show apparently didn't manage which is a bit of a shame).
Hope most of you who went to the final show enjoyed it anyway.

Never managed to see this in London. This is always one of those shows that, like something like Stomp or Woman in Black that has always just been "there" for me. So other new shows come up that push them aside. Book of Mormon had started becoming that too but I am definitely gonna see that one soon. But it had a brilliant run so congratulations to all involved.  |

Jersey Boys was actually the first show I ever saw in the West End. While after my London experience I was horrified when Ryan Molloy came to Broadway, I have mostly good memories of just about everything else in the West End production.  |

Can't please everyone. :-) Ryan is Frankie for me. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but I value him both as an incredible performer and as a person. He's been good to me the past 9 years. I was happy when he finally left JB in 2014 though and could have done without the Broadway stint I admit - simply because 6 years was more than enough of watching him do the same role. |

Considering that the producers never did any speeches for cast changes, I'm hardly surprised they didn't do anything special for the final show. I've loved this show since I first saw it in 2011, and am very sad to see it closing. It's introduced me to some wonderful performers who I am now interested to see in other shows. I would say 'my' cast would be the company that opened at the Piccadilly (with Michael/Sandy as Frankie) as they were the company I saw more than any other, and IMO, were the strongest set of 4 seasons I saw over the 6 years of watching the show. I look forward to seeing the tour next year.

There were speeches at every cast change in the first few years of the show. Ryan's farewell speeches used to be quite "legendary" actually. It's a shame they forbid the cast to do them at some point.

Ryan did one anyway whenever one of the seasons left (he didn't really care if he got into trouble). But once he was no longer in the show that was it with the speeches as far as I know. What happened at the 2 Hippodrome shows? The reunion of the original four London Jersey Boys (plus some other former cast members). I'm currently uploading some videos. Here's a link to one. Very disappointed that in the speech there was nothing from Frankie or Bob ... you would have thought they could have done a statement to be read out ... especially as Frankie turned up to both Vegas and Broadway closures ... and he's touring here next month ... still that's showbusiness I guess

Cast announcement for the tour coming very soon according to the Instagram page. They show a few short clips of the cast in a photoshoot though and it's fairly obvious who they are.
It looks like Michael Watson back as Frankie along with Declan Egan, Lewis Griffiths and Simon Bailey.

That ties in with Twitter where Lewis has recently started following Michael and Simon (and Michael now follows him too). If true, this makes me very excited. Michael became my favourite Frankie by the end of his run, Lewis was easily the standout of the last tour, and Simon and Declan were really great additions to the London cast in the final year at the Piccadilly.
