So - any rumours about the new five seasons?

Good question. I admit I haven't bothered trying to find out any casting info. As long as my favourite swing is staying I'm happy. ;-)
Wouldn't surprise me if one or more of the tour cast joined the London production.

I really hope they bump up Ben Jennings to at least alternate Frankie. I saw him once back at the Prince Edward and really liked his portrayal. Found him much stronger than the alternate Frankie at that time - Jon Lee I think.

I've never seen his Frankie but heard good things. They weren't very nice to him when the show moved to the Piccadilly and took Joe Pesci away from him (keeping him as a swing). I'd love to see him get more recognition. He's a talented performer.
I still have a few dream performers I'd like to see in the show but sadly that probably won't happen.

There was a Hong Kong production advertising with the tourseasons though I cannot find the information anymore. Which is strange because I did look into this and was able to book tickets before and now the site does not show Jersey Boys anymore. m.hk-magazine.com/events/hong-kong-musicals/jersey-boys-0I have heard at least one of the tour Frankies will move to the West End... not sure which one though

Matt Corner is going to be the new Frankie in town. Not sure about the other seasons, would guess they'd bring others from the tour in.

Mark Isherwood is staying. Simon Adkins and Matt Thorpe are leaving. Also I've been told all girls except one are staying - not sure if that's true though.

Matt Corner and Ben Jennings are two very good shouts I think Other than that, I've heard and read nothing so far other than quite a few tour ensemble auditioned/were considered.

I hope it closes. Truly shocked there are enough people out there to keep this going on and on. At this point the musical is more popular than the actual band.

Personally I think it's a well done jukebox musical. There are by far worse shows around and I'm happy this is still selling well. It's not like it's nothing but a tribute concert like Thriller.

I think you've kind of just answered your own query! There is still a lot of buzz around the show in the West End and the location helps too. It sells really well Tues mats, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tues-Thurs eves are often quiet but I think it takes enough money to get away with that.

Nicky Griffiths is staying for another year (she tweeted a while back and I don't think it had been mentioned yet).

Back at the tour tonight, love this cast and they would slot so well into London. I've heard rumour of a stunt casting in the main 4, anyone know anything?

The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye has announced that Matt Corner, Simon Bailey, Declan Eagan and Matt Hunt are taking over as the Four Seasons in the West End production of Jersey Boys from 15th March 2016 at the Piccadilly Theatre. Via westend frame

Like the look of this cast, think Bailey will really shake up the Tommy role and Matt is one of the best Frankies I've seen.
Now we just need to know who alternate is and the rest of the cast!

I'm honestly very pleased by this new cast. And surprised but definitely happy about Simon Bailey as (I presume) Tommy.

Very please Matt Hunt is being promoted. He was fantastic as Norm and Gyp (never managed to see his Nick so far but have heard good things). And Simon Bailey as Tommy is something I am really looking forward to.

Looking forward to seeing this cast; having only seen Simon as Raoul in phantom and then admired his comedic talents in 'I can't sing' I reckon he'll portray de Vito in a totally unique way - exciting!

I've never seen Jersey Boys (apart from the great stints they do at West End Live, which really rock the audience) - the Simon Bailey casting has me reaching for my credit card!
