I'm trying for Bohemian Seats but all I got is notification at precisely midday that I have my random place in the queue - no indication where I was placed in that queue.
Expected to get a number whether 5, 500 or 5000 to get an idea whether it's worth waiting as there's only 10 minutes to book if the front of the queue is reached before all the seats go.
It's now 12.25 and the queue icon has hardly moved so suspect I am well in the thousands....

Tried on 2 devices, initially I was shown queue numbers but then the numbers disappeared after a few seconds. On one was over 3000 and the other I was number 150 in the queue, got to the front at about 12:20. Friday and Saturday were sold out, there were a few singles dotted around rows F and G in the stalls and royal circle for dates earlier in the week. Didn't end up buying any, I'm going to try again for the next few weeks and hold out for can can seats - it says in the email that can can seats are included in the lottery.

Hopefully the lack of queue numbers was a glitch, based on your experience a queue number up to around 200 would offer a chance, otherwise try again next week. All were sold today by 12.30. While I never won I certainly preferred the old system with just a need to check the email at around the same time each week. |

I managed to get a pair of tickets in the Royal Circle for Thursday, after being 498 in the queue. When I got through, all shows bar Thursday were listed as sold out, and for a while it said there was nothing for Thursday but I kept refreshing for a few minutes and eventually a pair came up.
Going by a comment on Twitter, there were over 5000 trying. Even though I did manage to get tickets, I would much prefer the lottery over this.

I know what everyone means by preferring the lottery, but since the first week it's been on offer I have never won it. Years now of getting that better luck next time email. At least this way I have some degree of agency over it, I can try when I want to go for a rush ticket and stand presumably a better chance than I had otherwise.

I did try, but was so far back in the queue that I didn't get a number. With that said, even if I was near the front it sounds very unlikely that there would have been tickets on the days I could make next week.
All these lotteries and queues are very much outside chances now. They've become very well known. Useful if you live in London and have some flexibility, but all the people who have exactly one day in London and think they have a good chance at the lottery really don't have.

Not sure of my queue number today but I joined the waiting room at about half 11 and just kept the tab open and I was in to buy tickets by 12:04 - managed to get 2 in Row B of Royal Circle for Sat .
It’s got to be random because my friend when I’m at the same time as me and didn’t even get in at all just was saying you’re in the queue for ages. He closed it once I’d managed to get them

Rumour - Dom Simpson from The Book of Mormon to take over as Christian at cast change.
Jamie's last show is 14th October.
It has been confirmed by Dom's agency that one of their clients will be taking the role of Christian at cast change.
Dom Simpson's last show at BoM (26th August) is a month prior to cast change at BoM (30th September).

Assume he's late 20s?
Had hoped they'd continue the trend of casting older in age as they did from JB to JM and get someone in their mid 30s - will probs be continuing to give this a miss again.

That makes sense - I also saw Dom was at Moulin Rouge on Broadway over the weekend.
Can't say I am excited by this casting 😔 Jamie M will be hard to beat. Any ideas on Satine?

Finally saw this last night, really enjoyed it and great to see the spectacle after seeing a lot of scaled-back productions recently (not that they were bad, just nice for a change!).
Jamie will be VERY hard to beat, thought the rest of the cast were strong too. Is this a bigger cast change coming up or just Jamie leaving?

Dom's voice isn't always the strongest at the upper end (thinking the end of You and Me and I Believe - of which he has now had the latter song put in a slightly lower key), so I'd be intrigued to see how he does with some of Christian's songs. I've not seen Muscato but did see Bogyo and he struggled with the high notes. My feeling is Dom would be closer to Bogyo than Muscato, but would love to be proven wrong (if it is indeed him).

Interesting take. I did not enjoy any of the three of Bogyo's performances I saw, and wasn't keen on him in Aspects of Love. But I do enjoy Dom Simpson's voice though. It will certainly be interesting to see his take on the role, especially as I haven't heard him sing I Believe in the original key in the last three visits to BoM. It will be difficult to follow Muscato, and I do hope Dom is up for the challenge. I do have more evidence to support the casting rumour, however divulging such would make my identity easier to discover. |

Again, I have receipts for said rumour - but cannot share. We will have to wait until London casting is announced mid-September and Broadway in October. I'd love to see Jordan Luke Gage as Christian, although I suspect he will get Orpheus |

Really liked Dom in BOM. Christian is just a slightly older traditional juvenile lead with nightmare songs isn’t he? If Dom is where they’ve got to we’ll just have to trust their process. (Even if its 50% strike rate doesn’t instill much confidence).
I’d rather Muscato took Hadestown over JLG. His voice is more interesting and has colour.
