How challenging a role is Christian to sing? In terms of publicity I don’t think they’d go far wrong by casting Jonathan Bailey, considering the success of Bridgerton. Just not sure how strong a singer he is.

That's definitely what the ATG site says. I just tried to book one ticket and in my basket it says it includes 6 glasses of champagne plus the other bits for £184.50. Now we know where we'll get content for the 'bad behaviour' thread, then. |

I agree on the lovely Johnny. He can do character-driven 'acting-singing' (he was very good in The Last Five Years and of course Company), but he's not got the rich belt needed for this. If only Oliver Tompsett was 15 years younger....

Aaron has a very young face though and doesn't read anywhere near 37. Christian is supposed to a hopeless naive romantic with no world experience, he should be played by a younger actor (as great as Aaron is). |

I still think they'd be missing a trick not casting Rob Houchen as Christian (I'm betting they will also). Pretty certain Preeya Kalidas and Christine Allado auditioned, wouldn't be mad with either of them x |

I’d heard that Jade Ewan was in the running until her ‘disappearance’. If this is the case I reckon Preya is a shoo-in.
