We still haven't heard about what will go to the Noel Coward, that's only just over a month away! It probably will announced in the next few weeks, There's no urgency to say what is coming next

Cynthia and Danielle of The Color Purple both just received their first awards this season, the Theatre World Award for Outstanding Debut! The first of many awards this Season for Cynthia and, if Danielle can take down the Hamilton competition, many awards for her too! Hopefully it will pick up a lot of nominations at this years Tony's tomorrow!

I think when it comes to cast awards at the Tonys, it is really unpredictable because there are so many great performances in just about every show that are truly very competitive.
I honestly think that most actors/actresses will not be from Hamilton this year, and Danielle and Cynthia have a major chance of winning in supporting and lead, respectively. Shuffle Along will have some strong candidates, and Jessie will certainly at least get a nomination for Waitress. For lead actor I do think Lin and Leslie will be nominated, but Benjamin Walker from American Psycho also has a chance.
When it comes to the show awards, it's fair to say that Hamilton will slay just about everything under the sun.

I think that the rest will be Cynthia, Danielle and one of the Shuffle Along men.

We still haven't heard about what will go to the Noel Coward, that's only just over a month away! I reckon this will be a transfer of a play for a couple of months, either a regional production or a UK tour... Maybe Bristol Old Vic's Long Day's Journey Into Night? Yes I'm sure it's a play, musicals only rarely go there. I agree it will probably be a UK tour or regional production, we would've heard if it was a new play probably

Renee will win for Hamilton...Danielle will be nominated but won't win I really wouldn't be too sure of that. She won the Drama Desk for the role last year but she wasn't nominated at both the Outer Critics' or the Drama League so I would say whilst she is guaranteed a nomination, I am not expecting a win on her part. It could happen, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Danielle win.

Think it's only for a month or so, probably a last minute replacement for Mrs Henderson. Then a play will probably go in there

We now know what will be going into the Noel Coward after Henderson... Impossible will return from July 8, 2016 through August 27, 2016... which I am quite glad about as I missed it first time around!

Only a month and a half run for Impossible so I'm guessing there's something going into the Noel Coward in the Autumn

Probably a regional/UK tour play will go into the Noel Coward but Impossible is a nice idea for the summer season for families, tourists etc. It was probably an easy and quick replacement idea

Do we know what's going on with the transfer of The King & I? Doesn't mean much, but they setup a website saying 'coming soon' and setup various social media accounts for the UK transfer… March next year.

Wonder what theatre it will go into though, not going to be much availability next year judging by the rumoured transfers already!

Wonder what theatre it will go into though, not going to be much availability next year judging by the rumoured transfers already! Oh how exciting! Surely it needs one of the bigger theatres, if only for a stage large enough for the dresses!? Very exciting about all these transfers - I love thinking of potential theatres they could go to! Yes it does needs a huge set apparently! I would've said the palladium if SoR hadn't said it was going there. I dont know about Drury Lane, I'm still hoping the rumours of Mary Poppins gojng there are true! I think Phoenix will be The Girls. What do you think?

The king and I needs a big theatre for this production but I can't see it selling a big west end venue...Unless it does the same as South Pacific

Don't forget the fringe stuff. Bar Mitzvah Boy announced one that didn't happen for whatever reason, and Grey Gardens was looking as well. Can anyone think of anymore?

Well it managed almost 2 years at the Palladium last time it was in town. I don't see why it couldn't manage it a second time. Don't get me wrong, I love the show but it's a very different climate than the 90s. Sound of music (the biggest r&h show) struggled once it's reality cast star left, carousel struggled in its last revival. And I seem to remember the Albert Hall production having offers for its limited run If kelli comes with it no one outside of hardcore theatre fans will know who she is. Personally I'd cast michelle dockery who, while maybe a little young, would be more of a draw and I also think quite well suited to the role

It's better on a tour life. I think some of the plays you mentioned (Long days or The Mother) could possibly go to the Noel Coward after Impossible. Don't forget The Girls, that is defiantly transferring and Hairspray isn't transferring as much as i loved the show! I know that plus the fact it is touring again in 2 years.
