Eurobeat was fun although more fitting as a cabaret show later at night in my opinion. I saw four of the shows - the Turbine is in a great location for me to get to from work and reasonable for getting home so works well for me. The one thing it needs is somewhere to get a tea/coffee before the theatre opens which I'm sure will come once the development moves forward.

They were - but understandably only for about 45 minutes before the show. I get that, small venue, minimal income and not masses of staff - one reason I try to support it is that this really is a theatre existing for love of musical theatre and certainly not for profit! As someone who likes the cold I was quite happy waiting but a few comments were made so the opening of something like that for people arriving before the theatre opens will help I think - and hope

When the Northern line extension is eventually complete, this theatre will be easier to get to. I remember seeing that Battersea Power Station will be the terminus of the new extension.

Yes, the last station of the line will be Battersea Power Station station. Due to open autumn 2021, and all the trains on the Charing Cross branch will go to Battersea rather than south for Kennington.

it's a very short bus ride from Vauxhall, or a 15 min walk. It really isnt that inaccessible.

It isn’t that inaccessible, but perceptions matter. There are a lot of Londoners, and particularly visitors to London, who wouldn’t think about using the bus system of taking a 15 minute walk. Putting it on the tube map will help a lot.

Putting it on the tube map will help a lot. Agree. London buses are alien mysteries to those from outside London who never use them . And googlemaps fails horrendously sometimes when you try and use it to find places not on a road, or worse under something like a railway arch with multiple levels to negotiate.
Tube access makes a big difference , and the tube station gives a set point to start google working from.

Am a big fan of the Thames Clipper service.Embankment to Battersea in fifteen-ish minutes if memory serves. Pretty cool to arrive or depart the theatre by boat.

I don't know enough about previous years' content to comment, but I'm glad this is moving online. While I'll miss my trip on the river bus, I welcome the chance to see more of the programming than I'd usually manage.

TONY cancelled due to complexities in filming and intention to put on as a production at the turbine later in the year.
