This is a very intriguing and enjoyable play from the Simple8 company (whose previous work has been mainly at the Arcola). Based on a true story, it covers some of the same ground as The Encounter - man lives with Amazonian tribe - and suffers from the comparison, especially at the beginning. However once it gets into its stride, it draws you in with themes of how we view the world, faith and linguistics. Quite complex but repays concentration. Mark Arends is never off stage for the 90 minutes and gives a superb performance as Dan, whilst the other 5 performers take a variety of roles very well. It is quite difficult to describe but it is well worth seeing (continues to 23rd April) and the Park Thetare is lovely, very easy to get to and with a trendy cafe/bar.
