I'm booked for first preview, rescheduled from last year so won't be one of Linzi's performances. Shame as I'd love.to see her. Might have to book another performance.

Yep, have now booked! This is (almost) up there with Glenn Close in Sunset for me in terms of excitement (not quite because I’d never seen Glenn before the Coliseum).

This has now tempted me to book - 17 July evening it is!

Linzi now listed on Joseph site but no mention of her “special performances” dates. Will it be every show Burke doesn’t do? I’m hoping so. We’ve booked 17th July, and I’m hoping to book at least one more once I know for certain what my August plans look like. Bring it on 🌈🌈

I wouldn't go near this with Alexandra, as I couldn't understand a word she said in Sister Act, but absolutely must see it with Linzi. Hopefully safe to book the dates, fingers crossed.

As other's have said, I wasn't planning on going to see this (unless I managed to get a last minute discount), but there's no way I'm missing seeing Linzi in this again, so have just booked my tickets.
I do wonder if they had originally asked her to do the full run, and she declined, or if the producers felt they needed more of a household name for the Narrator. And it will be interesting to see if they add extra performances with Linzi if her shows sell really well (maybe an extension to the run?)

I had already booked to see it July, but now with Linzi doing certain performances, i'm booked to see her first and last performance. No theatre news could top this, this year.

You can see exactly what will happen. Linzi's nights will be full of MT fans and the other nights will be Jo Public.

You can see exactly what will happen. Linzi's nights will be full of MT fans and the other nights will be Jo Public. The main thing is that it will draw in audiences - so a good business decision.

I've got a very cheap seat for the first preview moved over from last year, and I've just been and paid for an end of row front stalls seat for Linzi's first show. After screaming loudly at the news, of course. The Palladium cast recording was a large part of the soundtrack to my childhood, and last time round at Joseph I teared up at the overture. I'm going to be an emotional mess at this one!

Having planned to see the show whilst I’m down in London in July, the news of Linzi as the narrator is very much welcomed, so it looks like I’m having a few extra days in the city so I can catch her performance on the 17th July evening show. a great way to end my theatre week.

Are those who are going on the 17th July doing the matinee or evening? Evening - unashamedly trying to minimise the risk of being in an audience full of kids.

I'm afraid I might go all 'wicked fan girl' and scream as soon as the lights dim....
