Just looked on O2 Priority & stalls range from £35-£150, but realistically you’d probably have to fork out £85 for a half decent seat.

Does O2 Priority feed through to RUG theatres or whatever they are called now though? As if not that will include an agency mark up.
The official 'box office' goes on priority sale tomorrow morning...
Would be very surprised to see top price NON premium at £85 as that would make it second only to Hamilton.

LOL, I thought let me check my Spam folder and saw a Mail "London Palladium - PRESALE: Get tickets to see Michael Ball..." and was like, HELL NO! - then realized it wasn't for Joseph but for some concert of his. Anyway, I wouldn't book for Joseph until I know who's playing the lead. Am I the only one who thinks it's daft to try and flog this without any name attached yet? It's not like this show hasn't been around on tour for years. Also, I'm broke after forking out for Hugh Jackman, so I half hope it will be some boyband/soap actor type I don't care for  |

I got my email around 10.15 this morning to say I could book. Does anyone think there will be day seats available as there are no front row seats available, ofcourse they could just be sold already. |

Well pretty much all shows in London do some sort of dayseats. ALWs other shows all do them in varying degrees.

Just booked row A in the Upper Circle for £10. Classified as Restricted View and Limited Legroom. I have an aisle seat though so it should be a bit better in terms of Legroom

So why not sell the show just now on the hype of it being a big London Palladium revival, and later cash in again if/when a name is announced. Like a lot of people here, the 1991 version was my introduction to musical theatre (and I was gutted when I finally saw it and Linzi Hateley was off - although I caught her as Eponine a year or so later, which made up for it). Given they are using the same logo (and theatre), I suspect this will be an updated/modern version of that production. So I'm definitely going, regardless of cast. |

there are no front row seats available, of course they could just be sold already I think they usually hold them back for sightlines (they did for "King and I" and the first panto), then decide what to do with them nearer the time. Thanks for the info. I've now booked. If they become day seats and the show is good it's another opportunity to see it again. |

The Bill Kenwright production of Joseph is continuing to tour in 2019. Just booked to see it in Windsor for a fraction of the Palladium prices. I love the show but the prices for good seats are just too high for me. Also the front row, my favoured location is not yet on sale and row B specifies it might be added later.
Last summer there was some discounting later in the run on the Palladium's King and I which was a higher profile show in my estimation. I'm going to wait at least for for a casting announcement on this one.

I had the 2 Palladium emails next to each other in my inbox and thought exactly the same! I am absolutely not buying until they tell us - after last year's luck with Chessgate Mickey Ball is actually the most likely candidate for Jacob, with the cast of Hamilton as the brothers and Stacey Thingamy as Mrs Pottifar! Throw in James Corden as Joseph and Michael McIntyre as the narrator and I think I'd have to spend the whole of 2019 in a padded room with a vat of gin to recover.... |

Is this not produced by ALW/RUG as he is normally so vocal re keeping things if not affordable as such, on the lower side of West End top prices, especially for shows where kids may be interested - School of Rock reflects this and Cats at the Palladium was much cheaper than this.
I can't actually find who the producer is....
Anyway, a lot of love from me for this show from me and much excitement so have booked for the first preview and one other date.
May now have to sell an organ to raise funds for when Evita goes on sale....

The upper circle has been very accurately priced, I think. The rest, well, it's not much different really from usual. Oh I dunno, the sheer volume of Stalls seats at £99.50+ seems a lot to me. I know it's semantics but the £85 ones which I would consider top price non premium (though the boundaries are increasingly blurred by a continuum of prices - 15 years ago we'd have called this simply 3rd/4th price) seem to me to be further from the best seats than usual. Though I appreciate The King and I was similar. The last Palladium show I went to was Cats and that wasn't like this! Less premium and top non premium was £70 ish IIRC which got you great seats. (I do appreciate you will have analysed recent trends more than me though :-)) |

(I'm slightly joking - Kenwright's Joseph was literally the first musical I ever saw and as an 8 year old I was mesmerised and became an MT obsessive for life ;-) And I did just about enjoy seeing Joe McElderry in it last year) |

How things have changed - Joseph at the Palladium was the first show I ever queued up for return tickets, got one somewhere around Row M of the stalls on an aisle, and paid whatever 2nd price was: £21.50 or something like that. Unbelievable how much of the auditorium is now so high priced.
