Why is everyone so negative these days on the board?!
I personally think Sheridan is a good choice - she's talented (yes, the score will need to lowered a little but so what?!)and she's a name. Good choice as far as I'm concerned.
I wasn't going to buy a ticket, but just picked one up:)

I do think she's a terrific performer but not sure if she's worth one of the biggest weekly salaries in West End history!

God no thanks. I can imagine her performance already, her usual Sheridan 'I'm a bit mad and goofy me' routine will be in full flow. Also I can't see her voice holding out, it's quite a big sing really

This show has toured constantly for years, it needs a new lease of life. Sheridan will sell tickets.
I think she will be wonderful.
I'm certainly not a fan of this show but I'll be booking now.

I’d be happy for Liam Doyle to be Joe, but turning it into someone innappropriate’s star vehicle sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. |

I've paid my money a few times and seen Sheridan in 3 shows. She was brilliant in Little Shop of Horrors but awful in Legally Blonde and Funny Girl. I'm not going to to jump for joy when someone, who in my view, has a proven track record of giving the same unsuitable performance is cast in show.

We’re talking about Joseph! The whole show is the campest bit of fun anyway, let the girl have a laugh and belt a few tunes out.
She’ll be raking the punters in! I can basically hear ALW giggling with hysterical glee about how much money he’s about to make off her!
