Surprised that this is running at the Arts, and not in a bigger West End house with a cast like this. Perhaps they hope for a transfer?

Matt Cardle was supposed to do it. Must have dropped out. Not complaining about his replacement (Ramin). And thrilled to see Norman Bowman in a show in London again.

I'm very excited about this cast. I've wanted to see Kerry Ellis and Ramin Karimloo for ages, but I never got the chance to see them as I live far away. For them to be in the same show together is amazing. The part that really sucks is that it will only run 1 month and once again I won't be able to make it unless they extend their run.

I'm booked in! When I looked at the last two Saturday evening performances there were only about 10 tickets left in the stalls so get in quick if you want to go!
EDIT: Seats left were when I booked via Ticketmaster, just realised you can book directly on their website and quite a few left there!

What a bizarre - if not exciting - cast for the Arts. Such a grungy venue...

Age has been so kind to Ronny Boogaloo. He is looking H.O.T.
It'll almost be worth putting up with Kerry Ellis bellowing at me like the foghorn on a trawler.

You could take him home to mother. But now. Oh my. He just looks like he could do lots (LOTS) of dreadfully filthy things to you and you just wouldn't mind a bit!

I don't know Murder Ballad at all. What's it about and is it worth seeing as a show? The casting is tempting me to book but I can't sit through something dreadful! Life is too short!

And that isn't even sarcasm, I don't actually know!

It's about a love triangle gone wrong. Love, lies and baseball bats. Think the stage version of 'Fatal Attraction' with a lot of songs and a lot less laughs.

I have no idea what this is about either but I presume Kerry, Ramin, Victoria etc wouldn't have signed up for it unless it was any good.

I have seen many brilliant actors in utter rubbish and I assume they just have their rent to pay. It is work after all. Anyone remember Cliff Richard in Time at the Dominion???

Not sure I can resist an "enriched after show experience"...

Not sure I can resist an "enriched after show experience"... Unless that experience includes Ronny Boogaloo, my lap and his shirt coming off I ain't interested. If Ronny also brings Hadley Fraser along as he is wont to do then I'm in.

I listened to the cast recording on spotify and it sounds great. The music is full of energy. It's going to sound great with Ramin and Kerry singing it

Funnily enough have also listened to the CD and can't get into it at all. Have listened to the first 20 mins or so 3 times and then have to stop. Is very rock based (not an issue for me) but for me seems completely tuneless and hard work.
Anyway, a dilemma - as I love this cast and would like to see them, hoping they can raise the material.
(High ticket prices for a one act show also putting me off).
Anyone else listened to this?

When Kerry was initially announced to be heading the cast I was considering booking but with Ramin confirmed I am now desperate to book tickets! I have a feeling this will be really good.
