I think it’s Anne Hathaway! But also heard Kylie Minouge. Anne Hathaway is going to be busy filming The Witches in the Spring.

What are the dates of the run? Would start around 7th April (Berberian Sound Studio finishes on 30th March) and their productions are usually on for around 8 weeks.

Everyone knows that Kylie is doing this. I know this may be an unpopular opinion among many but I would have done anything to get a ticket if it were Kylie, within reason. On the other hand, from experience attending many of her concerts, her fan base can be wild. The last thing any of us wants is a man in his late forties screaming “sing the Loco-motion” from the front row during the Rhythm of Life.

Kylie is touring Australia till the last week in March, so it would be a very short rehearsal.

If it was Kylie Minogue, you think they'd be dumb enough to have it just at the Donmar?! Kylie could sell a run in a West End house in anything she did. In fairness, her tours are very theatrical, throw her in the Dominion with her own show.

She did that very small acoustic tour last year. Tiny venues.
She’s a serious artiste now 😬
She could be playing Charity as a bit of practice for her role as Satine in Moulin Rouge.
Oops! . 🤐

Alicia Sylvesterstone? Amanda Seyfried? America Ferrara? Ashley Simpson? Please make not not be Ashley Simpson. Anneliese van der Pol?

Alicia Sylvesterstone? Amanda Seyfried? America Ferrara? Ashley Simpson? Please make not not be Ashley Simpson. Anneliese van der Pol? Some of those wouldn't be too bad! Anneliese would be a dream just because of my Chelsea Daniels love and that she has done theatre across the pond so I'd be intrigued!

It can’t be her but Amy Adams is the right sort of age (mid forties) and would be great in the role. Good singer, can do both the comedy and the pathos.
So....Anne Marie Duff? Already mentioned but not denied.

I hope they keep Bob Fosse's choreography for this production In the Donmar? Are you crazy? They’d kick each other (and the front row of the audience black and blue), they’d be that squeezed up together.
