411 now. How likely is it to have sold out by the time I get to booking? I’m never been to the donmar so don’t know if it normally sellls out on the day.

Queueing for an hour: frustrating!

Got a circle seat but had to go for 20th April when I would have preferred the 19th. The 19th wasn’t available at all, is that press night? They're doing a thing where Friday night tickets go to young audiences rather than sold to the general public, so it might be that. Which is entirely their prerogative but a nuisance, 'cos I hate going to the theatre on a school night so would like to have had some Friday options available if the Saturdays had proved a wash-out...

Not much chance for me as I thought booking opened at 10am. Queue number 2025. Does the Donmar extend runs when shows prove so popular ?

Managed to get £10 seats in the infamous row C of the Circle - Happy enough with that.

However, isn't this Josie Rourke's last show as AD? Won't Mickey Longhurst be waiting to clear out her junk from the office and get started on his own stuff?

Couldn't get online until a few minutes ago, 2013 in the queue.
Now assuming I won't get anything so trying for returns it will be! But I'm only looking for a single so there may yet be hope...

Forgot that booking opened this morning, despite loading the page at 9:05 I’m still waiting quite far back in the queue. Looks like I might just have to hope my luck comes in with the young & free tickets instead.

I’m now number 6, so will see what happens in a min. This is a solo trip for me too, so I’m hoping I’ll manage something that works for me.

Under 1000 people in front of me. Hope it doesn’t complete between 11 and 11:30 when I’m in a meeting and won’t be able to monitor things.
I didn’t join the queue until 9:20 (started with 2000 people).

Didn’t get the dates that would have worked best, but did manage a £10 circle ticket on a date I can make work with a bit of luck. So now I can enjoy the rest of my day off 🙂

If anyone does miss out today, they do put returns on sale, standing tickets for £10 are usually on sale on the day, and they also normally do a weekly release of "Klaxon" tickets at various price bands.

Having not long left the 25 and unders category I can't avoid supporting cheap or free tickets to young people, but why Friday? Surely put it on a Tuesday or something, there'll always be thousands of students lapping up free theatre tickets any day of the week, and it is a shame for people that start work in the early mornings or what have you not to be able to go on a Friday night.
The Donmar booking frenzy is still a lot calmer and smoother flowing than the Nationals, for which we can all be grateful.

I'm sure someone was hoping that the website would crash and it would be a nightmare trying to get tickets just so that they could post "there's gotta be something better than this".

I couldn't face the 9 am scrum so decided to go out to do my errands first but 90 mins later, there are still nearly 2,000 people ahead of me in the queue. If we could only see what was available, we could decide whether to wait, but of course theatres never give information that helpful.
As they've whacked the prices up and I don't know the running time, I would only want a matinee anyway but expect I'll be out of luck if/when my turn ever comes!

I'm now 770 in the queue after about 40 mins and it is moving much quicker.
If it doesn't work out then I'm perfectly happy to get a standing ticket for this.

Finally reached the front of the queue. Only circle tickets left at more than I wanted to pay for the dates I can do so I’ve left it. Still hoping I’ll be able to see it for a cheaper price at some point during the run though.

The queue is now paused with a message saying that the Stalls are sold out for every performance and Circle availability is limited for most.

Just managed to grab 2 in the circle for a Wednesday in may. Not much left now if you want a pair.

If it does well it may extend slightly and transfer. I'm not that bothered and someone here (@xanderl, perhaps?) once said he'd never failed to get a ticket for a sold-out production by checking for returns, etc. Shame Klaxon isn't an option because of the dire timing.

Yes, they're all set aside for a "tickets for youngsters" scheme and not available for public booking.
