Hello.
I'm going to London in the beginning of July for a couple of days. I've bougt a ticket for TITANIC as I loved the production I saw at Southwark Playhouse. I have time to see two other musicals, but I can't decide which musicals to see.
My favorite musicals so far are Phantom of the Opera, Titanic, Sunset Boulevard, Evita, Love Story, Aspects of Love, Matilda and Beauty and the Beast.
I'm interested in ALADDIN, THE GO BETWEEN and FUNNY GIRL. Which two would you choose? I'm glad to hear other suggestions too :-)
I look forward to read your answers. Best regards Morten from Denmark.

As huge Alan Menken fan, I'd see Aladdin twice. But assuming that you want to make the most of your trip and see as many different shows as possible, my recommendation is to see Aladdin and Funny Girl.
I've seen Aladdin three times on Broadway so far and really enjoyed it. Great score (Proud of your boy is one of the best (MT) songs ever written) and pure magic. And despite my three times seeing the show, I still haven't figured out how the magic carpet flies. So for the time being, I'm going to say it's magic. And it's funny and has a tap number. What more to ask for in a musical?
I've listened to the one song for The Go Between that has been released and found it quite boring, and I've never seen the movie nor read the book. Heck, I even forgot it was opening in the West End. And while I thought that Funny Girl was an average show, Sheridan Smith was perfect in this and should not be missed.

I'd say Threepenny Opera at NT. You will definitely have an interesting experience from WE show and get to see great actors such as Rory Kinnear & Rosalie Craig in amazing venue for half price of any WE musical
