I think I hate any and every nickname for breasts haha. ME TOO. I don't understand why people can't just use the proper names for things, instead of stupid "funny" nicknames that make the user sound like either a prudish grandmother, or a writer of saucy seaside postcard captions, or sometimes somehow both! |

This great cast is tempting me to book. Although sitting amounst a swathe of female Gary Barlow fans of a certain age is still putting me off! They will probably have had a glass of wine apeace and be absolutely p****d. It will just add more posts to the bad behaviour thread!

Sorry, but I think you're the one who's being a bit cynical here. I'll openly admit my bias: I raise money for the same charity and I love the Calendar Girls story - what they have achieved is phenomenal: No need to apologise. I did say that I hope that the WI are benefiting from the show, but just because there's a charity involved doesn't mean this is above critisism. Where did I say it was above criticism? The WI aren't benefiting, Bloodwise (formerly known as The Leukaemia Research Fund) are. You may think its "cynical" and "milking it", I think it's wonderful that the story is still raising money for a good cause after all these years. I'm sorry you have such a curmudgeonly view of this show - and that's not an apology! ;-) |

just realised that there are no black people in this cast? Why? Oh you're right! The film and the play didn't either and it's not that shocking, it's set in Yorkshire and about the Women's Institute which I imagine doesn't have many if any people who aren't white or middle class women. |

Half a Sixpence doesn't have anyone who isn't white in its cast either so it's not something that is exclusive to The Girls. |

I went to book tickets for this today. Firstly the tickets are all mostly 55 or 45 for previews. Group rate 45 in stalls or dress circle is 10 pounds more than others I've booked. The front row is being held off so I presume lottery or day seats. I was dissapointed as I wanted to take a group  ( |

Not meaning to question your authority Steve but isn't Mormon £49 for groups, Aladdin and Lion King similar prices? It's getting more expensive to go to the theatre these days whatever Gary & Tim say (that also includes the access rates)! |

There have been black people in Britain since the Romans were a thing, not to mention they literally just found a couple of ethnically Chinese bodies in Southwark dating from a similar period, so I do hope no one's going to try justifying the whitewashing of history as historically accurate again, because that is just categorically untrue. |

Scarborough sung by Joanna Riding, following the track's debut on Radio 2 with EP. Wow, I'd forgotten how emotional it is. Incidentally, GB and the cast are preforming on Strictly tonight, too.
