This has sold much better than I thought it would - wonder if that's due to the cast or the piece?
Was hoping to go on a deal but first 8 weeks look very well sold so think may have to cough up full price....

Don’t think there be much queuing for day seats, for this one.
There will be an initial upsurge of ticket sales as there are lots of Dolly Parton fans.

Seriously I don't know whether anyone would actually fall for that but the size of the DOLLY PARTON font on the posters in relation to the size of the 'presents' underneath it does make me laugh every time I see it! xx |

I have a colleague who is a massive country and western fan and goes on social media like this one for his passion and they thought Dolly was going to be appearing, I burst the Dolly bubble.

I want to be more positive about this and I do hope that the cast surprises, but it just screams stunt casting to sell tickets to me, which to be fair, seems to have worked! I listened to those links of Amber Davies singing and her voice isn’t baddddd, but I’m not sure it’s particularly good either (despite her musical theatre training), and Louise Redknapp can’t really sing (although I know she’s out until March). Sure, Alison Janney can’t really either, but she more than makes up for it by being well, Alison Janney! This all said, I don’t think it’s a show trying to be anything it’s not, and will probably be eaten up by the audience.

Hmmm Gold and blue?Interesting choice. That pic of the set reminds me of the gold/blue dress meme from a couple of years ago! If you take your seat early you're gonna be goggle eyed by the time the show starts staring at that for half an hour!

See I didn't actually think there would be anyone stupid enough to think Dolly Parton was in the show once they were in the theatre with the three girls on the posters outside, no sign of Dolly in the cast section of the programme etc, but there is someone on Instagram who has put a picture of the stage saying "waiting for Dolly" so I hope they're not setting themselves up for dissapointment

Just seen a video on Instagram of Brian hanging over the 9 to 5 sign during the interval in his harness. Don't know if it's supposed to happen and he hangs there throughout the interval or its a technical error, but he is talking in character saying "come on". 😂
