^REMEMBERING THAT WE DON'T PERMIT POSTING OR LINKS TO UNAUTHORISED PHOTOGRAPHS OF CURRENT PRODUCTIONS ON HERE... It is on the official Fiddler Instagram account. Therefore I would assume they have been approved and are not unauthorised.
The stage height, walkway and set in the stalls can all be seen in the official post from the show.

Mazel tov to the cast on opening this week and break a leg! Can’t wait to see this and wish Andy Nyman many wonderful sunrise performances with memories of the legendary Chaim Topol who made the role his own.

Sorry all but still not clear on seating for this- how are Row A seats in the stalls? Don’t think I can recall a show with such frustrating ticketing- so many different allocations and prices.....

I agree, druthers.Despite many attempts by the wonderfully helpful people on the board,I still feel really unsure about the layout. The pricing seems random in the stallls.

The seating is confusing for this but glad to report that, in the stalls at least, every seat is a good one. I was in the back right hand corner in row N with Mr Nunn and felt nice and close to the action. The ushers were still trying to get to grips with the new seating and there was some confusion.
I was a little puzzled by the over emphasised no readmission but allowing latecomers in through most of the first half!
Terrific production which has transferred well into a larger space which I didn't feel with Caroline, or Change. The cast are excellent and Andy Nyman brilliant as Tevye.
One cast member dropped his bottle during the famous bottle dance but handled it well... Funny.
Five stars from me.

I am slightly confused by the seating plan as there are two seats on the left of the walkway at the back (row N) beside the sound booth which were occupied by the director and his assistant tonight. These aren't on the seating plan.

This was just ok. It's entertaining enough but nothing special really. I've seen much better productions. The Stalls area was immersive and there were lots of times when we had some of the actors next to us which was nice. The main problem is the rake, or lack of. The stage is very low and if you get somebody tall in front you won't see a thing, or you will see very little. I was fine, but lots of people around me were really struggling. Andy Nyman does a decent enough job as Tevye, but I was disappointed by Judy Kuhn as Golde. She was a bit on the bland side and you don't believe for a minute that Tevye is a bit afraid of her. The rest of the cast are no more than adequate. The dream sequence was very poorly staged and I'm not really sure why they went for a man in drag to play Grandma Tzeitel. Stalls row N gives a nice view of the stage as long as you don't someone tall in front. Good value for £20. Disappointed by Judy Kuhn? She should win every award available for this role. Breathtaking.

Especially as Philip Bertioli is in it I completely forgot he was in it until I saw someone mention him on twitter. 😂 I didn't either. I follow him on Instagram and he put a picture up yesterday with a present and something about first night but thought that was for Guys and Dolls in Paris. Maybe I need to move my seat nearer to the front now.

Sorry if this has been said somewhere - are the side aisle seats in the stalls still an actual aisle? Thanks.

Bloody hell, I saw a video of the stage being built for this yesterday and when I booked I thought I would be safe by choosing a stalls box since the staging was confusing me. Well now it seems I'm inside a little house in Anatevka! What if I need to cry, or pick my nose! No hiding place.

Well now it seems I'm inside a little house in Anatevka! What if I need to cry, or pick my nose! No hiding place. From where I was Sat that box looked like it would give the best experience of the original staging at the Menier. Therefore I think it's a good choice and you'll feel very much a part of the action. Plus, it isn't Don Quixote so you won't have bread thrown at you!

There last night, can confirm that the Stalls N24 is a bargain! The last row in the stalls is "O", but it's only a very few seats running behind N25 to the side aisle, N24 (and lower numbers across) is the last row. Handy little ledge behind for coats as holy cow is there very little room for legs! I'm 5ft 5 and was Ok sitting, letting people pass was a bit tight, guy next to me had knees on the back of the seats in front. I think there's something a bit off about the rake, though ... normal size bloke in "L", normal size woman in "M" but she really couldn't see over his head and bobbed about up/down/left/right trying to find a good angle. Which meant the woman next to me was watching through bobby womans hair half the time. I sat on my jacket which gave me a few cm but honestly I'd think about taking a cushion or something (not to smother bobby woman, I mean to sit on); it is the last seat with no-one behind and you get an excellent view straight down the centre stage.
So that's that about the seat!
A well staged production, I’d say it’s very safe, no surprises, runs almost word to word / action to action to the film version. For me it was all about the staging, from walking into the auditorium there’s muted light and bird song. The walls are set with skinny tree trunks. Actors appear about 10 minutes before "curtain up" (there is no curtain) and move about as a village setting. Muted lighting meant every single bloody phone lights up like blooming beacons! And I couldn't read the programme ..
I enjoyed the ensemble pieces, the dances were terrific! Great vocals. I've booked for what was the last performance but of course they've extended ... trying to decide if I want to go again as I love love a last night.
*Oh, the bar! If you are in the stalls don't go to the main bar, head down the stairs past the loo's to the little bar down there, no queue!
*edited to add, oddly less people after the interval, including the woman and her partner next to me, people at the end of the rows in front ...

I'm still quite confused by the seating! I'm going to be in N19 next week, it looks as though there are 3 row N seats on their own on one side of the catwalk, but I think someone said earlier that there are some seats in that row that aren't on the seatplan. I suppose I'll find out when I get there!

N19 you're on the right hand side of the theatre with the runway to your left. On the left hand side of the theatre there is a sound/lighting booth splitting the rows N/O again (absolutely no distraction from it), from N20 to O21.

I got a TodayTix rush seat last night, it was on the very edge of a row in the Grand Circle. Decent view but very limited leg room as there was a railing right in front of me.
Had never seen the show, enjoyed it although the first half is very long.
