For what? I assume since you've put her name in here you're suggesting her for a part in the show. She's too young for Alice, too old for Ellie - I guess she could work for the Hatter, but they'd have to take her songs down like in Sister Act, everything we know of her already suggests she wouldn't be able to sing them as they are. No thanks.

I think he was referring to she doesn't do matinées either.
If I was a performer I'd rather do the matinee if I was to miss one as at least then the day is yours.

No thanks. I think it was a joke and a reference to the fact that people are discussing her career in the Sister Act thread rather than the actual thread for her. I can't imagine her in this at all.

Some interesting tweets from reviewer Mark Shenton at the Stage about this!

He basically said he was baffled as to why it was brought over, the changes they made and thst it was basically a panto (which is complete bullsh*t, but alot of what Shenton says is). The changes made have made it alot better a show and alot easier to follow than what it was on Broadway!

The Broadway book whilst not great, was a whole lot better than the awful book currently in the UK tour.

It's allowable to disagree . The entire Broadway production is on Youtube, I'd forgotten how big everything was.

Oh no, I didn't mean that as a dig at you haha, I genuinely just forgot because I know some get angry haha. I watched it on YouTube again too... its alot haha! Even if the show wasn't flawed, I can see why it closed early because it looks expensive, must of been a bitch to run!

While many have mourned aspects of "the score" there's also very many who have gone along and had a thoroughly good time. That's what it's all about after all, isn't it?!

Is the Broadway cast album available to buy online? I can't find it on Spotify or iTunes...

No sign of it on uk itunes.
Groupon have a £15 offer for band b seats in Bristol. Even though it will probably rocket to about £22 with atg fees I think I'll give it a punt. 😀

I live in Dublin and these types of ticket deals never seem to be here! Unless I'm completely clueless and missing out.

Saw this last night and I really enjoyed it! Not the show of the year, obviously but it was funny, easy and very enjoyable. Kerry Ellis was very irritating with the hair tucking and pulling her shirt down ALL THE TIME (if I didn't know better I'd say it was nerves) and her voice was quite nasal but crystal clear and very very strong, Natalie McQueen was ace - really really well acted and her voice, wow! Wendi Peters blasted it, such a shame she didn't have a bigger role.
Very well behaved audience too!

Having seen it, I am genuinely confused with this hair tucking! I was actually expecting it because some on here made such a big deal out of it, but I noticed it once, when she came out of the Looking Glass in her new outfit. But that was it!

Any chance of a West End run after the tour closes? I'd just love to see the show with a little more money thrown at it production-wise and a slightly bigger ensemble. Also, Rachel Tucker would sing the hell out of this score as Alice. Keep Natalie as the Hatter too.

Also, Rachel Tucker would sing the hell out of this score as Alice. Keep Natalie as the Hatter too. I had this thought the other day, whether it would do a limited run in London once the tour ends. I could see it happening, but they couldn't go for that big a theatre I wouldn't imagine. If The Girls decides to abandon ship, I could see it doing a limited run through Christmas at the Phoenix.

It's just been to Wimbledon and was heavily discounting so can't see it happening.
I would love a cast recording though.
