Just wondering, do they do any pairing up of potential Elphabas and Glindas in auditions to see if they work well together? That would be one way to help cast the right person.

It does happen for most shows most of the time, yes - but not always, and rarely will Wicked do it if someone is staying on (i.e Sophie joining Alice). |

Do we really have no semi-serious rumour about a Glinda? Where have all the "I have inside-sources"-people gone? My bet is on Helen Woolf, but mostly because I lack any creativity  |

Available for all to see, and then rescinded where it obvs wasn’t true or ready to be announced. THAT’’S why I don’t commit to stuff because it is rarely true. No insider sources apart (from just one.) Snide comments help no one elphaboy. Well as this was ‘public’ do you dare to share what you saw? It’s no rumour, you’re just repeating what you saw on a social network. go ahead... |

Wicked fans have double standards at the best of times, but they get 10 x worse at cast change time!
Call out someone for ‘fake’ news when you yourself were posting some a few weeks ago! Call out people for speculating who the cast will be but then post rumours all over Twitter ... really? 🙄

This is my prediction:
Elphaba: Nikki Bentley
Between proving herself as a reliable standby on tour, and her removal from the Priscilla site, it just seems right.
Glinda: Helen Woolf
There's been no significant gossip as to who is actually the new Glinda, but people really enjoyed her on tour, and she is also reliable as she only really missed a show when she was ill, which was not very often, or scheduled off.
I'm not saying anything has been confirmed, it's just a prediction.
