Not so stunt casting as they've done lots of shows but I would LOVE to see Bonnie Langford as Morrible and Tom Lister as the Wizard.
I'm sure there are plenty of the ex 42nd Streeters capable of playing all the other roles too 😂

I’ve no insider knowledge but the lack of any credible rumours since the Lucie one makes me think it’s mainly transfer of tour people (which will make me very happy!)

If it’s Helen AND Charli I’ll be so disappointed because I wasn’t really fussed on either 😬 (don’t shoot me)
I wouldn’t mind Laura though even if there are more exciting choices out there!

If it’s Helen I’ll be disappointed as well, since she’s been doing this role on and off for the past 6 years. Not as bad as some of the US witches, but fresh blood would be so appreciated.

I would be thrilled if Amy Webb joined as Elphaba Standby! Not so thrilled if they promoted Laura! |

My faves are James, Ben and Luke
Imagine Luke and Tom in the same cast!
The Wicked twins!
It would be such a unique selling point.

It would be such a unique selling point. Another vote for Ben and James plus Jack as Chistery. I’d love all the female swings to transfer in but can’t see any of them doing it having been on tour for two years. Also Emily Olive Boyd is my favourite ensemble member as ShenShen! Kim Ismay deserves a chance to do her Morrible in the West End but again not sure I can see it happening now. |

LEAVE
all the principals, and most of the people who joined at cast changes prior to the previous one
STAY
most likely a few of the ensemble, eg Maggie, Jonny and Scott, would Chris do another year?
JOIN
Hopefully some tour transfers, such as Kim as Morrible, but I would love to see some new blood. Tour ensemble members transferring in would perhaps be Emily Boyd, James Titchener, Ben Yates. Charli is confirmed as the new Maria Coyne to cover for Carina.

Laura Pick just purchased a house. So she needs to make money. If that’s not a hint for you then I don’t know what is. Probably needs to make money as much as the American you said was confirmed to come over and play Elphaba 😉 |

At the moment it seems like Charli is acting as emergency cover. Haha! You say that with such confidence ... there’s a really big chance it could be Laura I think! |

It has not been "confirmed" by Wicked yet.
She was not on last night as Glinda. Samantha Thomas was, which is strange.
We kinda knew she was coming in when we saw the instagram video of her wig. In normal circumstances I'd say it's emergency cover but that video came out weeks ago so her coming in was obviously planned in advance.
Doesn't look like Carina is going to have a show anytime soon but she is still, officially, the Standby. I suppose until she leaves for her next maternity leave (whenever that will be) Charli cannot not be listed on the website or named as maternity cover Standby, as Maria was.

Nobody has mentioned the other name I’d heard teased for Elphaba for quite a while now. I do hope it’s true as she has a fantastic voice. But the person telling me this has fed me BS in the past so I don’t want to embarrass myself if it turns out to be that way again.

The other name who I heard got to the final stages of auditioning is perhaps best known for a show Wicked have traditionally got lots of Elphabi from.
