This may be the first time I've posted in the Wicked thread on this board. OK, cheapest place to book Wicked tickets in advance please? Also, I've checked theatre monkey but any advice on restricted view seats? Asking for a relative. Last time I went (September 2014), I sat in row D of the stalls at the side which at the time was £32.50. I thought it was great value especially since there was barely any restriction. That was almost two years ago (blimey!) so price might have changed but anything in the front side sections of the stalls that is below £40 would be great! |

The restricted view tickets to the right as you look at the stage are better than the ones on the left in my opinion, less restriction from stairs and ensemble during group numbers.

The general public don't know it's a cast change show and would probably not be bothered either way. Those of us interested in these kind of things are a huge minority, which is proven by the fact there are still tickets left for the tenth anniversary show.

I bought tickets to the anniversary show, it'll be the first time I've seen Wicked since the first time Kerry Ellis was in the show. And then I promptly won a pair of tickets in a tombola this weekend... so I guess I'm seeing Wicked more this Autumn than I've ever seen before?! Waiting to hear on what the seats I won will be but have some cheap circle ones for the anniversary show!

I suspect that's because some of the really annoying megafans have now finally grown up and stopped spending the hours of 6-10am every day outside the Apollo Victoria and the hours of 5-7pm and 10.30-11pm outside the stage door! |

Seriously, I'm a big fan, but some people really seem out of control. I've always found it very strange that people would actually camp out for day seats. I get that cast change is very special, but why can't you just buy 2nd row seats a few months in advance? And hanging out at stage door before the show is a bit much for me. I'll do stage door after the show and maybe wait for half an hour, but after that I'm outta there.

why can't you just buy 2nd row seats a few months in advance? because it doesn't show what a dedicated fan you are? I usually dayseat for Wicked, but when I attend a special event, I always prebook one of the cheaper front&side seats. |

I love dayseating as well, on normal days when you don't have to camp out the entire night. With the prospect of having to spend the entire night on the street, I'd rather just prebook. |

Sadly I only discovered Wicked after she had left. Which is why I'm so excited that she's coming back, because based on audios and videos she's my absolute favourite. How long do you think the craziness will last when she's back? I'm probably going in her second week back and I'm not sure if it will be possible to get day seats or I should just book second row in advance. |

And some of them even had prebooked tickets and yet decided to queue up for days. I do wonder though how having two different queues during the last week worked. One for Saturday, and one for today (Mon-Fri). One queue alone can be chaotic enough... |

I couldn't do a week of camping! The longest i have dayseated was for the final Made in Dagenham, and 3am was enough for me!

I've only ever day seated once, got to the theatre at 7:45am and there were already 15 people in front of me... Loved being front row but not sure it's an experience is readily repeat....

slightly before 5am for Killian Donnelly's last two Memphis shows. But it was July, so not too cold.
